Okay, to help you out.
There are several key points to be made here.
1.Boxing has a huge history. It is one of the earliest forms of competitive sport. Due to it's history, it shouldn't be banned.
2.Every single fighter in the industry is willing to partake - it's a choice. Should F1 racing be banned because someone crashed and died? No, because they knew the risks, and knew the benefits (cash, enjoyment, etc.) It's a choice. It's not like their forced to fight.
3.It is well known that boxing keeps kids off the streets. It provides a road to a better, healthier way of life. Like someone said previously already, a lot of these fighters would be drug dealing and popping clips if they weren't in the gym everyday, training.
4.You could argue that because in boxing, the intention to hurt another human being is there, therefore it should be banned.
To this, i answer - is the intention of a boxer who is in the ring really to hurt the other person? Well, i'm sure it is some of the time - but as a sport, the intentions are not to hurt - the intentions are to display fighting prowess. I demonstrate my skill in punching, counterpunching, footwork, by fighting another man. If someone pitched a ball in baseball, and the dude with the bat hits the ball and it flies into the face of a fielder and kills him, should baseball be banned? No, because it wasn't intentional - the idea was for the batter to hit the ball as far as possible, not to kill someone. It was an accident.
Injuries in boxing are mostly accident - no accident as in it happened by chance, but accident because the intention is not to hurt, but to display skill, to land punches.
5.If boxing is banned, do you honestly think it'll stop? Humans like watching people fight. Thats why we had the gladiators. Thats why we have boxing. Banning boxing will not end the sport - it will only put an end to the proper business side. Instead, we will have people fighting in cages, with no rules, no medical support at hand, no proper judges, no proper protection for fighters, no proper gambling. Look at prohibition - they banned it, and it still happened (in fact, it could be argued that more alcohol was consumed). If boxing is banned, all you do is put it onto to the black market, and make everything worse for all involved. Leave boxing legalized, and it's 5000% safer than if you ban it.

No it shouldnt be banned. Car Crashes probably exceed deaths in Boxing, and the economic benefits boxing has are massive. now thats in the most basic form! 2 advantages, with a comparison to one other activity.
To the person who said better regulated. Karma for you.
Everyone should stop being little bitches. Its a fair question whether or we like or not, dont insult new members. Say your peace , but be a man.
and I did just that.......I was very polite and manly in my reply :D

thanks for all the help
But i still need info to kick these peoples asses anyone know what i can say for these questions or links to where ican find the answers?
why is boxing beatiful?
Why is boxing not brutal?
in which sport are the most injuries?
in which sport are the most badboys?
How does boxing help people?
Boxing be banned...
Hmmm. Well, it would fit all the other fascism in the country from gun control to seatbelt laws to violating religious and public voicing. Yeah, it would fit the growing trend from all the assholes who have forgotten what being an American and being free is about.
So what it is violent- so are the gestapos, excuse me, police that are supposed to protect us. Oh yeah it's protect and serve; serve black eyes, broken bones, gunshots, injustice. So is the government who raid American homes with tanks and kill 100 kids, or snipe women.
So it causes braindamage and death- so do cars, alcohol, and New Orleans police officers.
I agree with whomever posted the gladiators should be brought back.
These kinds of discussions make me go so insane, that I wish I had a sparring partner in front of me so I can KTFO him because it pisses me off, so I will not respond.
Farewell.

No it shouldnt be banned (and I dont have to be a boxer to say that either) Boxing is a dangerous sport, but only one of many. Boxing also provides another way of life for so many youths that would have otherwise ended up selling dope, dead or in jail. I'm always hearing stories from boxers about how boxing cleaned their life up, etc. Those that are too sensitive to watch two men with gloves and the proper supervision fight just shouldnt watch, period.
I've heard people say that boxing should be banned because it's violent and causes brain damage, sometimes severe brain damage, and if we really are civilized people then we shouldn't allow such barbarity to take place. Of course, that's all just a giant steaming pile of donkey crap.
