1punch KO power

Well we have seen it from many......P4P I gotta say Manny P is right up there with some of the heavy hitters who weigh alot more.

It's still hard to believe he's dead. It wasn't long ago at all that I watched him fight on ESPN. He was one of my favorite fighters in recent history.

Julian Jackson, he is and was probably the hardest puncher pfp in the history of the sport. he could ko anybody with one punch, from either hand, in any round, at any time. his hands were cannons, one shot is all it took for him to ko a guy. watch the Herol Graham fight. he was being outboxed and had his right eye damn near shut, and landed a right hook, that had Graham out before he hit the canvas, brutal....but he did that kind of stuff a lot.

Man i got sum abuse for mentioning samuel peter lol but people sayin mike tyson i dnt agree (and im a MASSIVE fan of him) cos he used to knock people down with a volley of shots. i think earnie shavers, naseem hamed and kostya tsyzu propa deserve a mention!

the answer depends on a few variables. some fighters might have incredibly good 1 punch power, but don't commit fully to thier punches as it can leave you more open for a counter attack. so it depends. so it'd more of an opinion than a factual answer.

Just surprised me, that's all. It always interests me when the US get to hear about UK fighters and how they react to them. There are some decent up-and-coming UK fighters (I think David Haye just entered the WBC Top Ten tonight) that get derided. Yet Skelton seems to be one getting a decent "who is this guy? He sounds pretty good" rep. Sadly, he's crap, but he admits it himself. He's extremely poor technically and just clubs opponents into submission. Most of his wins are really TKOs. I've read about Skelton a bit. He has only been boxing for a couple of years, so can't expect a lot of boxing technique from him. However, from what I heard, Danny Williams refused to fight him twice now, once cancelling the fight a few days before the date. I am not trying to degrade Williams (I think he showed more heart than 95% of boxers out there when he was fighting Klitschko), but that tells me something about Skelton. I think his next fight with McBride is a joke though.

Mike Tyson still probably has one punch power. But now, unfortuantly thats all he has left in the boxing ring. And that doesn't always win fights... :(
