I honestly believe that "Relentless" Lamon Brewster is the best heavyweight boxer out there right now: he got good moves, works both the body and the head quite effectively, has a very big heart, he can both punch and take a good punch. In the ring it seems to me he really knows what he is doing. Great sportsman with special tools.
...Guru, your right about the comp being close to the same and your also right about how their fights went. Vitali dominated his from start to finish. The only fight on Brewsters Resume that he won from start to finish is the Golota fight. In all three of the others he was in danger of losing until the end. Down and nearly out against Wlad, barely beating Meehan by controversial split decision, and then stopping Kras late when he was behind on all three scorecards. That's hardly a dominating run. Vitali is the man right now hands down. If he fought Brewster it would just be another case of a systematic Vitali beating being delivered.
i give LB credit where credit is due, unlike ruiz and byrd, at least LB is clearly winning(except for the meehan fight)... he's a big puncher, dangerous at all times in a fight and has heart.. i do think his chin is a little bit overrated... i think he's hard to clean thats why its hard to hurt him...
I swear you dont read my posts..... i never said VK was impressive either... brewsters win over golota was a good win, it just wasnt impressive to me... nothing new happened, we learned nothing from it, nothing to leave an impression... if VK dominates rahman and stops him late, it would be a good win, but i wouldnt call that impressive either, because its nothing we weren't expecting... its just my definition of "IMPRESSIVE"
now as far brewster and VK, yes they both have looked good, but VK has been more dominant... he hasnt had to come form behing to win or was in a close fight like LB was against meehan... as far as level of competition, it looks about the same to me: wlad/meehan/golota/kras - sanders/KJ/DW/donald

And I'll say it again, the fact he dominated Corrie Sanders and Danny Williams means NOTHING.
Sanders has been domianted and knocked out in 2 rounds by Nate Tubbs, and Danny Williams was dominated and stopped sooner by Sinan Samil Sam.
You seem to be implying that beacause Vitali dominated a 38 year old inacitve Corrie Sanders and a notorious choaker in Danny Williams (again, just two fights in almost two years) that it somehow gives him a slight edge over the other title holders.
And then you are quick to mention that Brewster's win over Golota was nothing special (when Golota was arguably coming off back to back roberies over two other title holders) even though he walked through him.
I don't think Vitali has done anything impressive in his entire career, nevermind his last two fights in the last 20 months.
Brewster, Vitali, Byrd, Ruiz, Toney, Wlad all have been inacitive to a certian extent, and can all be guilty of not being impressive.
That's why we're sitting here looking at a division wide open and up for grabs.
Agaisnt WEAK opposition, and in TWO fights since the begining of 2004.
It's funny that you don't really count Brewster's 52 second KO win over Golota, but you are impressed by Vitali's 8 round KO's of Sanders and Williams.
Come on.
Brewster destroyed Golota, and he wasn't nearly as behind in that Krasniqi fight as you're making it sound.
He was down a couple points, but he was making adjutments which was impressive. His body attack brought Krasniqi's hands down and the result was written when that happend.
All you're doing is trying to down play what you don't like and prasie what you do.
There's NOTHING impressive about Vitali beating those two fringe contenders in an almost two year span. When you combine with that the fact that before that he never amounted to much, he's just as much behind the 8-ball as the rest of the title holders.
They all need to fight eachother. End of stroy.

brewster's win over wlad was impressive on one hand cause he showed heart(we already knew LB had a decent chin and power), but on the other hand he was getting beaten badly.... the meehan fight was unimpressive.... the golota fight was a good performance but i would not say impressive cause again we already knew he was a big puncher, nothing new came about to really make an impression... the krasniqi fight is two sided too, he once again showed his resilience(spelling) and power, but he also had to come from behind to win...
of the 4 champs(are we really counting the WBO title these days?), only vk and LB are winning decisively, but only VK is domintaing each time out...

I asked you a simple question. A simple question mandates a simple answer. You failed to provide that. I have it now. Good Day to you.
4th time: (see a trend developing?)
I ANSWERED you a long time ago.
You were too busy being a flake to have stopped to read it.
That's because you're not interested in the topic or the question you convinced yourself was so relevent of asking over and over.
You're only interested in being an argumentative flake.
I answered you a long time ago.
You were just too busy confusing yourself and thinking about what you were trying to say in your own head that you weren't interested in listening to it.
It's text book. You blocked it out, because it allowed you to keep dwelling on your one track line of non sense.

Alright thanks for answering. Thats all I wanted.
Nice Cuba Gooding Junior Img by the way. Dont know what the significane of it is but I like it. ;)

I've told you 3 times now your entire flaw is that you think your quasi schizophrenic rational is factual.
I don't care what you've twisted your thought pattern into, nor do I care that YOU think what you're asking holds any relevence.
Yes, I think Brewster would beat Vitali. But it doesn't matter what I think, it matters what happens.
And writing off Byrd, Toney, Ruiz and Wlad when they're just as much in the sweepstakes as Vitali and Brewster is ignorant.
I've seen you talk about several different topics, and I don't even think you really like boxing. You like to argue, and you do noting but spout meaningless babble to try and convince yourself you know what you're talking about.
Here, it's clear you don't.
There are 4 title holders, and Toney Wlad and Rahman that all need to fight eachother to determine who's the best Heavyweight.
Page 8 of this thread, Radio.
But like I said, when you're straining yourself to actually read what I said, pay attention to what it says AFTER I answered your question.
The part about how you're an idiot for thinking your logic dictates some kind of factual order to a GROUP of Heavyweights that haven't fought eachoter yet.
FLAKE.
question 3 times .
You have not answered. There is only one proper way to phrase the question. There are only 2 possible answers.
Bozo, who would win, Vitali or Brewster?
option A Brewster
option B Vitali
Can this question be any more simplistic? If you have any suggestions as to how I could simplify it more would you be so kind as to forward your suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated.
nice response.
An appropriate, relevant, or valid one? Come on Bozo, I thought you could do better my man. dissappointing this is.
You'll have to forgive me, I'm not used to dealing with retards, and my strict policy of only answering a question 3 times seems to be troubling you.
You can try going back and reading again, but when you do, pay special attention to the parts about where I told you why your question is irrelevent and your logic is completely flawed in terms of selecting a current #1 Heavyweight.
I really feel sorry for those who have to deal with you in person on a day to day basis.
nice response.
Who do you think would win Bozo Vitali or Brewster?
You twisting your logic
a flake you are.
You're an idiot.
you just act like a flake
You're a waste of everyone's time
ugly flake

Oh forgive me, I forget this question is irrelevant and "quasi schizophrenic." lol
You twisting your logic in to trying to convice me it's a fact that was the only question that matters shows what a flake you are.
I've SEEN you quote old fights results and statistics until you've visably confused yourself. You're an idiot.
I spelled it out for you why you're being ignorant about this topic, and all you do is repeat yourself.
And I answered your question a total of 3 times in three seperate posts.
Again, you don't even read, you just act like a flake and try to argue the non sense you've convinced yourself of.
You're a waste of everyone's time, especially your own.
Again, there are four serpeate title holders, and Toney Wlad and Rahman, all who need to fight eachother with the winnters of those fights fighting eachother until someone has unified the division.
That's the only was a real #1 Heavyweight champion is decided.
Not when some ugly flake who's obsessed with photos of himself decided which two of them fights for the #1 spot in his confused and poorly informed mind.
The division is wide open right now pending title unification fights.
A man capable of beating ANY person in the world with his fists within a confined space over a course of 12, 3 mineuete sessions.
zzz zzz
I got that, actually I knew that
lets put it this way these HW suck compared to HW in other times (like the 70s and the 90s), since it happens that there are other weight divisions which don't have the same talent problem. I think again they suck pound for pound...
holy shit look at the champions
Brewster: does he look like the shit? all i can say is that he seems to have a big heart, Gatti?
Ruiz: AAAAAARRRRRGGHHHH
Klitschko: educated, nice person, smart fighter but omg he boxes ugly. His main assets in the ring are his size and his way of using it, big fucking deal, I am impressed.
Byrd: he used to be better but now he fighting nobodies while not looking impressive
these are the champions, I think they suck,
come on everyone got excited about sam peter, can you imagine a fighter with his skills and conditioning in the lower classes, we would not even talk about him
Not going too far back in time... Ike, Tua, even Golota of old is better than the current crop, not to mention Lewis, Holy, Bowe
men they all suck and there is nothing we can do about it
I am a fan of Toney. He is a heavyweight. I think he will become heavyweight champion. Therefore proving himeself as a premiere prizefighter in the world.
The heavyweight division is the premire division in boxng. Always has been. Who is heavyweight champion. IS THE CHAMPION. Can beat any other other man in the world with his fists within in a confined area over a course of no more than 36 mineutes (fighting time).
except a fat, old middleweight has enough talent to beat most of the division
now, while I do think that toney is very talented I don't think he could hold his own say in the 70s or the 90s
you are probably too stupid to get that, and I wear your red karma, proud to disagree with you
