wow, maybe at the end of the thread, we could post a survey, w/c combo is more preferred, boxing combo, or fast food combo...
i'd go for double cheese large fries and milkshake
so far, it's 7-8-1
7 for boxing combo, 8 for fastfood, and 1 for combo makes you feel like a pro..
What's your favorite combo to throw in the heat of the battle?
That's a very general question. The opponents height/reach make a big difference in that decision. Also, the situation at the time the combo is thrown plays a role in the decision making as well.
Without any details to base an opinion on, I will give a general answer. Under the right circumstances, I like a simple double left jab, straight right.
That changes dramatically against a taller opponent.

Two double cheeseburgers w/ fries and a drink a McDonald's.
But I love the double jab, straight right, left hook to the body followed by a left to the head....if they don't go down from that, throw in another straight right to head after the hooks and see what happens.
I haven't started sparring and haven't started my amateur career yet, I've been training for about 2 months now... but when I'm hitting the bag I have a really powerful Right Jab, Right Hook, Left straight (southpaw)
hmm
I like power-punch combos. Specifically, I use the 2-3-2 and 3-2-3 combos the most. Usually one or two of them lands out of the three and they are oh so sweet.
From the outside I like to throw a hard, straight right hand to the body. Sometimes I'll feint a jab before I do this.
Inside:
Right hook to the body followed by a right upper-cut then back to positioning on the inside.
Outside:
Double right jab, Left straight to the body, right hook upstairs.
