Now that you've seen Tarver/Jones III,

Hopkins fights at 170, he's been fighting at 170 for 10 years. I think with Tarver supposedly struggling to make 175 for the weigh-ins (being weakened by this) and Hopkins coming up in weight to fight Tarver (being strengthened by this), Hopkins would not be over-powered/over-matched at all. that is some shitty logic. Throughout his career, my dad never showed any struggles to make weight. Bernard started his career as a light heavyweight but soon went down as middleweight..I wonder why. Bernard is a much better technical fighter but he has never been in the ring with a fighter physically bigger and stronger than himself. My dad takes this fight.

Forget Hopkins Tarver. Lets see Tarver against somebody other than Jones. For instance the the alphabet champs at light heavyweight. Or lets see him go to cruiser or heavy. I think he will go to cruiser or heavy. He seems to have the frame for it. I dont think he will be THAT successfull if he went to heavyweight but he would gain intrigue at the very least. I don't give a shit about Tarver, it's B-Hop's Legacy I'm interested in.

Hopkins started his pro career as a lt hvy, got beat, then went down to 160. He stands 6'1". I just think Hopkins would find a way, 'cause he's got WAY more heart.

Tarver is too big for Hopkins. Not a good fight in my opinion. That's not to say I think Tarver is better p4p, just not a good match up. Hopkins was born 160 and will probably die 160. Tarver is a big Light Heavy with good skills. Probably ud for Tarver. Hard to pick a knockout against Bhop.
