After viewing the fight I scored the bout 116-116 draw.

Will a guy as big as Valuev ever be able to beat the top heavyweights, or is it the case that once you get to that size you're just too slow and cumbersome and are inevitably gonna just be a big target? In football you never see effective players over about 6'6" - maybe in boxing we'll just never see top guys bigger than 6'8"...

I thought it was a robbery. It had nothing to do with Donald being black though as someone mentioned. That doesnt matter. All that matters is that the homeboy wins. And they gave it to him. If Donald had a puch or worked the body a little more he might have knoced him out. I had 8 rounds scored for Donald and 1 draw. Its a shame these decisions still happen. Germany as a boxing nation does have potential. They have for euro standards pretty good boxers and boxing is very popular over there. Live boxing events are shown on 2 open channels and the ratings are good.

So the chances of Ruiz winning are pretty high then? not really. donald is much more skilled and quicker than ruiz. although he's achieved less. ruiz will actually be a better style match up for valuev over donald. ruiz doesnt have the quick jab and combination punching of donald. either way tho,,,,valuev will never beat the klits or any other of the champions

yes, and donald did school him. landed alot of good shots, nothing that dazed valuev or anything like that, but his brain obviously oscillated off of a few of those blows. donald would counter valuev's jab with a jab or straight right, and land both punches most of the time. valuev never landed anything that significant in the fight fucking euro judges...i like donald wow,,,that valuev must be a real bum. lol,,he had an almost 100 lb weight advantage and still couldnt win legitimately. vitali dominated and stopped donald,,, knocking down 3 times. he would have chopped the big kook down like a tree

The way I see it, the judges are either paid under the table or not. In case they are, it doesn't matter how competitive the fight was or who landed what. Ruiz will win defnitely, even without hugging. I think that's why Don King is happy. He can also sell Ruiz-Valuev very well in Europe. Europe is the only place where he can sell Ruiz. I think you are 100% right. Nobody will pay to see Ruiz fight in US anymore. A lot of people in Germany will pay to see Valuev fight for a belt. It's nothing but a money thing really.

it's not the nationality of the judges, it's the fact that the judges were present at the euro fight...and we all know how it happens when a euro hometown hero has a fight against a black journeyman in europe..nuff said.. Las Vegas is 3242342x worse than Euro when it comes to judging.

The fact remains that one judge had it by like 4 or 5 rounds for Valuev...How??? It was clear that Valuev didnt win the fight AT ALL...He plodded around and hugged and threw one job at a time while Donald was barely getting touched and mustering up 4-5 and even 6 punch combos that landed across his body and face...
