Who's paying another $50 for this ppv?
I'm going to invite couple of my friends over to order the PPV. Undercards arent very interesting but I'd love to see RJ beat the living crap outta Tarver once and for all.
Oh yea, I bought one of those digital cable filters which attaches to the back of the cable box and supposedly filter out signal with PPV order information going back to cable company. I also heard that you gotta clear the memory of the cable box AND THEN remove the filter from time to time, cuz cable company's checking on it by "talking" to the cable box and seeing if it responds or not. if it doesn't repond, cable company obviously finds out that you're doing something funny with the box. I still don't know if it is possible to clear or reset the memory of the cable box, so I was wondering if any of you have the filter as well and whether it really works or not.
By the way, cable tv and PPVs are so ridiculously expensive, i always feel like i'm being robbed... payback time if the filter really works!!!
I have one and I have never been able to figure out how to reset the box....What I have done for the last 2 years is have 3 boxes for "other rooms in the house" and they are like 6.95 extra each to have a month but what you do it order the fight and leave the filter on it will usually keep working for 2 weeks or 5 or so ordered events which ever comes first when it stops allowing you to order then take that box off and hook up another without the filter until you are ready to order the next fight...You will have to bring the boxes down to the cable place and trade them in for new ones every 3 months or so and at least where I live they have never checked the boxes or found out after the fact or questioned why I was trading them in....Make up some bullshit excuse such as lightening or you are attracted to one of the women that works there or some shit if they ever ask why you trade the boxes in.It has worked for me for 2 years now....Who the fuck can afford to pay for all the damn PPVs they have now...sometimes 3 in a one month cycle that shit is crazy.
LMAO!!! haha kinda hilarious but still an interesting method
I want to see this fight, but $50?
Come on, mang!
There are also fights on showtime tonight!
If there was NO other boxing on tonight, then MAYBE, but I got my tickets to Castillo-Corrales and I can't fuckin wait!:D

I already know the outcome no reason in purchasing something I already know...I will be hitting up the local casino to catch the fight on the big screen and before that watch the sho-card.....Plus their are live streams available.
what sites are these on??
that's what i thought but there are a lot of ppl actually saying that these filters work. only thing u have to watch out for is clearing the memory cuz it contains all the ppv history that could be sent back to the cable company if the filter's removed for wutever reason
oh well, i'll find out sooner or later. i paid 10 bucks for the filter and could get a refund if it doesnt work. ill let u know
I've read into what you are talking about...I think a lot of ebay auctions are scams...It seems possible but at the same time I dont believe it...The ones I looked at said I would order it with my remote and it would give me the signal but not send it to the cable company...I wouldnt want to take a chance on that...Say it works one time and in one day you order a bunch of movies at $3.99 and some porno at $9.99 and a boxing fight that evening for $49.99...You are fucked...Seems fishy and if it is sounds to good to be true it probably is...Seeing would be believing and I wouldnt want to see my cable bill if it didnt work, especially if you dont have the cash and expected it to work and it didnt....
Their isnt any way possible for people to steal ppv/premium channels anymore...They are only offered digitally and the codes cant be cracked.

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I would like to look into getting one of these as well. Do you have any information on getting one, and does it work for all digital cable providers?
Unfortunately I will be one of the idiots blowing the $50 on the PPV as always, I'm sick of being one of them though so I'd like a way out, even if it's illegal.
i bought it on ebay. just type "digital cable filter" and search. i will let u guys know if the filter really works.
