All this hating on James Toney, yet he's accomplished more in boxing than any of your favorite fighters.
Guarantee he wins the Guinn fight and all of you doubters will eat your words.
Hes' won titles in 3 weight classes, and should have the 4th, but due to his medical treatment for a torn bicep, he failed his post fight drug test. It wasn't steroids used personally, it was, and there is record of this, medical treatment. But, due to a zero tolerance policy, he gets a ND. Who cares. He's the most accomplished active professional boxer and still the most skilled heavyweight around.
The main reason he always walks around so heavy is that, in order to stay a legitimate heavyweight through training, he must bulk up dramatically before the fight so he can keep it on through training. :boxing:
toney has loss to drake thazi or sumin who was like 28-8, also lost to montell griffin TWICE. and show me the record of th medical treatment. and as far as active pro, i think hopkins gets the nod there with only 1 loss in the last 12 years, and 20 straight defences
Byrd Vs toney would be interesting, both are slick boxers and both are getting older now. i think the results of tonight will swhow us exactly how much each fighter has!
he did'nt look too bad at the weigh-in. toney will win, guinn's heart has'nt been in the sport for a year or two now. even if he was motivated, toney is still in a different league to guinn. looks like he'll fight byrd for the IBF belt, if chris wins tonight.

He led with his face against a limited heavy, Ruiz. You call that skilled? No wonder Toney's so ugly. Maybe at one time he had skills, but now he's just fat gutted plodder throwing out some popcorn for offense.
Toney's body's starting to break down cuz he's dumb enough not to take a proper care... out of shape all the time, no matter how long training camp is...
James 'Light Snack' Toney

Spinx...
Appreciate it, if I win my bets I will donate you LOTS of points...
I will do this
$10 on Guinn
$20 on Williamson
$10 on Roy
I dont want to be held responsible for you betting real money, use your own best judgement...Although I dropped real cash on Jones over the week.
I believe Toney was on the roids since the Booker fight, but he was on the roids for the Ruiz fight and came in at like 231 and came in today at 235..Hardly a big difference considering after the Holyfield fight he was walking around a few pounds north of the 300 mark...
He could have the buster douglas syndrome.
No it's not because since then he's just got fatter.
