They were both suppose to end up becoming Puerto Rican legends, so there is some kind of a relation between the two...but I'll admit, I'm obssessed with Cotto and seeing his demise.
When Kermit loss to Margarito he had some serious personal problems. He had big problems with his girl and his trainer. On the day of the fight his trainer told him that he hopes he loses. He was definately not ready for that fight.
We may have seen the best of Cintron. He is a hard hitter but couldn't handle the skills of Margarito, who isn't the most skilled out there. My guess is that Cintron won't be contending again, but maybe he can be rebuilt like the Six Million Dollar man and come back retooled.
nah, i seriously doubt that fight would be televised anywhere. i know he needs a few bum fights but i think he's pretty much out of the scene anyway. i mean, what top fighter is gonna give kermit a chance after the margarito loss when there's so many other big fights to be made with all the talent around his weight class.
His only chance now will be to knock off another prospect that tries to take him out on the way up. Or if he can magically show up as a mandatory somewhere, like Cosme Rivera.

After that loss to Margarito, he has to build his confidence back with a few bum wins.
