Here is a little something I got off of another wesbsite concerning Nicolay Valuev.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
However, it is not Valuev's knockout victories that worry Team Donald. It's the events that lead to Nobles questionable disqualification against Valuev last November that give them cause for concern. Fightnews obtained a tape of that bout and saw that Nobles thoroughly dominated Valuev with combinations, head movement, hand speed and footwork throughout all 4 rounds. Yet in the first round, a frustrated Valuev threw Nobles to the canvas and received no warning. In the second and third rounds, Nobles was deducted a point for low blows and was suddenly disqualified in the 4th for a final 'low blow.'
It was quite clear that Nobles' punches connected legally to the body of Valuev. Though it was curious that the referee made no mention of the fact that Valuev's trunks were worn just beneath his pectoral muscles.
only good fight is the RJJ tarver
That is your opinion and you are entitled to it but the fight on the undercard of Tarver vs Jones is the one I am most interested in. My friend Vinny Maddalone is rematching Brian Minto. Even though these guys are far away from legit contendership their first fight was incredible, a finalist for "fight of the year".
Along with both the HBO and SHOWTIME cards the "Beast from the East" Valuev is fighting Larry Donald in Germany.
anyone know of odds on the byrd/williamson fight??
