Wlad-Peter: both guys stock should plummet

Vitali KO's Wlad and outpoints Peter Toney KO's Wlad and outpoints Peter Rahman KO's Wlad and outpoints Peter Brewster KO's Wlad, might get KO'ed by Peter Williamson KO's Wlad, might get KO'ed by Peter Nobody is going to outpoint Wlad but with his pathetic chin I think Barrett and McCline KO him now. Wlad just fought a different fight because he fought a different guy. They were obviously focusing on not getting caught by one of Peter's bombs, whereas with Byrd, Wlad just had to jab him all night, didn't really have to move that much, and didn't really have to worry about getting nailed by Byrd either. Keep in mind, the Byrd fight was before Wlad knew for a fact he could be hurt by a punch. I think if they fought again though, it would end the same, Wlad might even try to get him out of there next time.

Last night was a pitiful performance on the part of both men in my opinion. Peter showed he is a one-dimensional fighter with not so good power as we expected. Wlad showed he has no chin whatsoever and never seemed to dominate Peter like a man of his size/power should. Peter showed a good chin but no stamina. I think both guys get crushed by any top 5-8 heavy. u donht know what the hell ur talking bout, Klitschko hurt Peter a lot, watch the fight buddy, especially the 11th round and the 12th round, watch the right and the hook the hurt Peter he was a about to go down, if the fight woulda went 15 rounds Klitschko woulda knocked him out, Peter was dead tired, and those knockdowns were not legitimate, Klitschko has things to work on thas for sure but is safe to say that hes a danger to the the division...

Klitschko was the "Boxer" and he won by three points against the guy whose all about "KOs". How was this close or good for Wlad?

I can't believe people are saying Klitschko dominated that fight. If Peter had ANY endurance or stamina whatsoever, Wlad would have been KO'ed in round 6 or 10. Do you all even realize Peter didn't land a punch in the 6th? This after knocking Wlad down twice in the 5th? Both of these guys are terrible.

I agree Toney KOs Wlad. Mayweathers power isnt great. Just ask Gatti but the constant beating and some fighter's corner's pride will stop the fight for Wlad. You all are giving Peter too much credit. He is not good. He is just another David Tua. You can't tell me Wladimir looked good against him either, stumbling around the ring like a drunk 1/3 of the fight and clutching almost as much as Ruiz. This was not a good performance by either fighter.

Vitali never fights Wlad and gets upset by Peter. Toney stands as good a chance as anyone with his boxing skill against both fighters. Either way: Wlad UD Toney and Toney SD Peter Wlad K.O. Well you have to admit, he was the favorite in this fight to knock Wlad out, and he failed to do so, so I think his stock overall dropped a little. He proved he has world class power and the best chin since Tua, and can go twelve rounds (dropping and stunning Wlad late in the fight, proving he has late round power) but he did lose the fight, his undefeated record, and was soundly outboxed the entire way. Still he is the closest thing the division has to a Rocky Marciano. I am excited about what the future holds for him. Lets also keep in mind. He remained dangerous the entire time. He was throwing serious shots.......and stunned Wlad in the 12th. I was impressed with his composure, chin, and believe it or not.......skill. These dickweeds can say he is one dimmensional, but when a big guy like that feints punches and played the pocket game with Wlad...that shows different. Wlad did alot of running. Given. But when they stood toe to toe, they feinted eachother constantly...trying to land a big punch. Peter is a thinker in there. He is not a simple minded fighter who relies on his raw power. He was looking for the well executed shot to end the fight. Which he could have done at any time. He showed he can take anyone's punches. I am still in awe when Wlad landed that 1-2.....Peter Waived him on. In my opinion, those punches would have knocked out alot of guys cold. I think both their stocks rise. Peter showed he has a great chin, which proved me wrong, and Wlad can recover from knockdowns. Even though he got knocked down twice from blows to the back of his head, he took a few on the chin. This proves that it's a mental thing with him, and I think he does have stamina problems, which need to be taken care of. Very weak legs. Other than the 3 knockdowns, Peter got dominated and lost every round. With some boxing skills and better training, Peter will do lots of damage in the HW division.
