There was never any proof about the handwrapping thing. Fernando Vargas has nothing but respect for Trinidad. He has said several times that Trinidad is the greatest fighter he ever faced and prior to Trinidad vs. Wright, he said that Trinidad was too much for Wright. This shows that he has nothing but respect for Félix. Another thing is that the handwrapping technique was always the same and for the Mayorga fight, the NYSAC supervised it and approved it. They saw it was okay, just like it had been in previous Trinidad fights. Don't discredit without having any proof, dude.

No, it shouldn't. Chavez, as seen on a camera close-up...had entered the bout with an existing cut. Not a little one, either. Oscar opened the cut up in the first minute with nothing more than a flicking jab. From there, Chavez bled like a stuck pig. Oscar would have won, anyway, considering Chavez's best days were behind him. This was one of the reasons I began to root against Oscar. I did not see the fight happen.. I read about it, saw it a week later. In between, I heard all about this "devastating" performnce by Oscar. It was more tainted than devastating. I knew then that the media was determined to make a legend out of him.i have never liked DLH i think his worst mistake was thinking that he was going to win over the mexican fans battering an already old Chavez,then by beating a PR great but quitting and loosing a close decition.
