What were the best wins of their careers
you people are fucking sick
El Sureno is the only one i agree with(for once)
James Toney best fight was
James Toney vs Iran Barkley then Jirov.....the nunn fight was even that good just a shocking fight thats all but if you showed the Barkley fight to a non boxing fan h would love it
Hmm, here are some..
Ali against Liston 1 and 2, and shocking the world against Foreman 10 years after shocking the world against Liston 1.
Benn against Barkley and McClellan.
Eubank stopped Benn and Watson, defeated undefeated German Rocchigiani in Germany.
Jones gave Toney a left hook that was a sucker move he stole from a gamecock, and stopped Hill with a bodyshot.
I just want to say....that I didnt know JUYJUY was a fan of roy jones jrs rap career, JUYJUY is now my favorite poster : P
I picked Lewis' best win as Tyson because it was just that, it was his best 'win', I mean the one that people will remember most because of the hype that lasted three years beforehand.
But Lewis' best performance was Ruddock.
Muhammad Ali - Sonny Liston, Foreman
Nigel Benn - Gerald McClellan
Chris Eubank - Don't give a shit about this british scum
Marvin Hagler-every win
Thomas Hearns - Duran, Cuevas, Benitez (outboxing Leonard TWICE)
Roy Jones Junior - Toney? who lost like 40 pounds for this fight
Sugar Ray Leonard-Thomas Hearns
Lennox Lewis - Mike Tyson ? (PWNED!!!!!)
Prince Naseem-Kevin Kelley
James Toney-Iran Barkley, Mike McCallum, Michael Nunn, Jirov
ali beating foreman was incredible, but i wouldn't be able to decide between that and ali/frazier 3. the thrilla was a very important fight for both of those fighters and for all of boxing in general. if frazier had won i'm not even sure if ali would even be considered 'the greatest' today
Muhammad Ali-George Foreman
Nigel Benn-Gerald McClellan
Chris Eubank-Nigel Benn
Marvin Hagler-Thomas Hearns
Thomas Hearns-Roberto Duran
Roy Jones Junior-John Ruiz
Sugar Ray Leonard-Marvin Hagler
Lennox Lewis-Evander Holyfield
Prince Naseem-Wayne McCullough or Kevin Kelley
James Toney-Vasily Jirov
Ali>Foreman
Benn>McClelland
Eubank>Benn
Hagler>Hearns
Hearns>Duran
Duran>Leonard (snuck this one in I guess)
Jones>Hopkins (not at the time but for its historical worth)
Leonard>Hagler (and yes I thought he deserved the win)
Lewis>Holyfield
Naz>Johnson
Toney>McCallum (wish I could say Ruiz)
I never laugh out loud, in fact I discourage the practice but to all you Naseem Hamed lovers out their hahahahahahaha.
Tom Johnson or Kevin Kelley as your best career win, what a great fighter that Naz was huh!
Please Naz fans come out in full force telling me how Paul Ingle was going to be great until he ran into Naz, tell me how heavy handed Augie Sanchez was...shit the prince was a pussy, there is simply no debate!
Blah,blah,blah....
Get over it man, you know he's a legend.

Oh please do stop spouting the bullshit. It was not "known" that Toney was gonna lose, and that is a straight up lie. Most picked Toney to win, and Toney had problems making weight many times in his career and still won handily. Jones won EVERY round from Toney and even the few times when Toney landed cleanly on Jones' noggin it didn't seem to faze him much.
Blaming Jones and taking away from Jones for Toney's problems is the obvious sign of a hater.
Besides, some would argue Jones' best performance/win was vs Ruiz.
Hearns best win was against Leonard in the rematch btw.
Leonard's best win was his 1st vs Hearns.
Hagler's best win was vs Hearns.
Ali's best win was clearly vs Foreman.
Eubank's best win was versus Benn.
For Benn, it was G-man.
For Lewis, it was old Holyfield.
For Naseem...Kelly.
Toney's best win was vs Jirov. Jirov was a beast and look what Toney did to him. Permanently messed him up.
Muhammad Ali: Foreman
Nigel Benn: McCleanan
Chris Eubank: Nigel Benn
Marvin Hagler: Thomas Hearns
Thomas Hearns: Roberto Duran
Roy Jones Junior: James Toney
Sugar Ray Leonard: Thomas Hearns
Lennox Lewis: Holyfield
Prince Naseem: Tom Johnson
James Toney: Jirovi ( Because of the weight increase i give more credit than against Nunn
But admittedly Toney was an undeserved lb4lb #1, he went from unknown rookie to lb4lb ranked with one desperation left hook (Nunn was top five lb4lb when Toney caused that upset). But James put in poor performance after poor performance (clearly lost to Reggie Johnson and Dave Tiberi, really struggled with an ancient McCallum in 92 that was not the McCallum of 89-90, looked awful against Wolfe and Thornton, etc) while remaining a lb4lber and something had to change.. if it wasn't for his dominant win over a very washed-up Barkley then people would of had enough of James and he may of faded away. It wasn't until he beat an undefeated Tim Littles and knocked out Prince Charles Williams that he was challenging an ageing Sweet Pea (who was on the slide) for lb4lb #1. Toney was given one more round against Littles due to a cut on Toney's eye so he just went out there and stopped him.
You see... That's my frustration with RJJ.
His career defining win (albeit it was an excellent performance) wasn't against the best in the division at the time, what a frustrating career!
Toney was actually lb4lb #1 at the time, although he wasn't the best at 168 because he barely made any defences.
But the thing about that Toney-Jones fight was that Toney was a shadow of his usual self because his mind was elsewhere at that particular time in his life due to personal problems, and he had to starve himself for weeks to make weight. It was known a week before the fight that Toney couldn't win.
