I think briggs could kill every champ there is except V.Klit if shannon briggs couldnt beat franz botha, lennox lewis, jameel mccline, or somebody like sedrick fields, then there is no way in heaven, earth, or hell that he can beat the champions now. he'll just get cheated or schooled, but w/e happens, he wont win.

Byrd would take Briggs to school and sit with him in class. Dude karma for you...that made me laugh. Yeah Briggs is good, but not on that level. He would make Byrd look like Ali, Klitschko look like Foreman and Brewter look like Frazier. At least Mandalone will be entertaining before he's knocked out in the second round.

Easy win for Briggs and a good showcase. He would have a chance aainst Ruiz or Brewster and could regain the title. I consider him a former world champ because of the Foreman fight. What's everybody's take on that?

I don't care what anyone says but I still think Shannon Briggs can become a contender. He is only 32 and if he works hard and gets into shape he may just get a shot at the title. I've been making posts about this since day one and most people were right away making the remark seem ludacris, we will see in the next year or so.

I don't think that's entirely unrealistic. The chin you need to reach the elite (read top 50) level of the HW division would be extraordinary I would think. In my opinion, any of those heavies would be able to take the best shot of the average guy with no problem. Except mine, perhaps, but Im a 6'6" and 340lb powerlifter, so I might only be able to put Byrd down. But I doubt it. i was joking on brigg's bad chin.... he's been floored so many times, he should been ko'd in the movie when he got hit...

I thought that Vinny was fighting Minto in a rematch on the undercard? I have known Vinny personally for about 8 years now and I think his handlers are making a huge mistake in putting him in there with Briggs. He still has alot to learn about defending himself properly. Unfortunately I see a tough night for Vinny.

Briggs vs Mandalone on Tarver-Jones undercard, Mandalone is always entertaining when he fight he was in some reall wars on fnf, and Briggs is trying to get back on the mix of things, should be a good fight, man now I dont kn9ow what IM gonna watch we got Byrd-Willimson, Toney-Guinn on shobox and Tarver-Jones, Mandallone-Briggs on same night, man??? Are we talking about the same Shannon Briggs? No offense, but I'm not the least bit interested in seeing this re-tread fight again.

i just watched briggs on the transporter 2.. it was totally unrealistic, the transporter hit briggs on the chin and he didnt go down... :D I don't think that's entirely unrealistic. I personally feel, as Briggs has often said, that he should be insulted that Maddalone would think that he would have a chance in hell at beating Briggs. Briggs has so much skill and power, that I really dont think he's gonna last as long as fat ass overconfident Okine did. If I were you guys, I'd expect to see Maddalone dance like Okine did when he popped. Briggs is coming back fellas. Get ready for it. i think hes coming back too, but i dont think hes good enough to compete with the champs

Any chance I get to see Maddalone get his italian meathead skull bashed is a welcome one.
