You know how they credit Morales having taking the toughest fights after fight after fight after fight...
And then, when he's losing, they tried to discredit him by saying he had won most of his fights only because Morales is always the bigger guy in the ring...
Fuck y'all, what a way to discredit a legend.
WTF... HBO DID NOT HATE ON ANYBODY TONIGHT! I'm sick of people saying they are bias and whatnot. Leave them alone....assholes. And btw LARRY MERCHANT IS THE MAN! AND JIM LAMPLEY! AND STEWARD!
I agree with Larry and Manny Steward. Steward actually said last night that Rahim punches with his hands open still when they make contact. I thought that he was being pretty good with his comments. Rahim is a good boxer, but he's not really a puncher.
I did find it a bit disrespecting that Merchant asked that to Morales at the post fight. No matter anyweyz, weight had little to do with why Morales lost. Raheem was just faster and fought very smart.
Wow, your beyonce pic is AWESOME!

I personally don't see Pac losing his power, he just fought guys with great chin. He hurt the guy with his right hand tonight, everyone said that Pac can't punch with his right hand. This proves to me he still has great power at 130. I don't think 4 pounds is alot even if you are 126 pounds. The older people get, the heavier they get, it's natural. So 4 pound is not much & I think it's way overrated in boxing. People can gain 4 pounds in one day.
Manny Pacquiao clearly has power at 130, Everyone he fights at 130 ,he KOs them or at least dazes them, everyone tries to beware of Mannys left hand when they box him. Its not because hes holding a sword, its because of Mannys power
Oh my god. What a bunch of crying babies. Need a bottle? :bottle:
HBO did nothing wrong and there was nothing but class on their telecast, as is usual.
Yall must be real hardcore Morales fans.
They never said the only reason he won was because of size, but they said it was a big factor, and that's the truth.
I'm not gonna rub it in though cuz I know yall love Erik, which is fine.
bolded statement.
I was just wondering if you knew how much Pac fans hate Morales.
If what they said about Morales id true then that is the reason Raheem won also and its true Morales has no business at lightweight.

a legend? oh please. he lost 2 out of 3 to bararra and got whopped last night. he's hardly a legend and hbo was exactly right

they're not "discrediting" him, and not saying thts the only reason he won fights. they're pretty much syain hes to small for that weight,

They were only stating facts in saying that generally, at the lower weight classes, he was the bigger man. The only way to be successful with a style such as his, you must be able to physically impose yourself on your opponent.
Against Raheem, he was smaller, slower, and not as technically proficient. Generally, he would counterbalance those technical shortcomings with his punching power and constant pressure, but he was unable to do that tonight.
I credit Raheem for fighting smart for 12 rounds and not getting drawn into a slugfest with Morales. Had he commited to a brawl, I'm sure Morales would have found a way to pull it out. But, instead, Raheem made him seem slow, akward, and unskilled.
I'm still a huge Morales fan. Who cares if he got outpointed? He'll bounce back.
I agree, what they said about morales was true, IMO. He doesn't have huge power anyway, and Raheem made it seem impossible to use what power he had against his opponent. I think HBO called it right.
imo people give the HBO guys a hard time for saying that they're all over certain guys dicks, such as Kid Diamond. They weren't on Raheem's dick at all they called a fair fight and Raheem CLEARLY dominated.
ya i agree, if you watch the raheem vs rocky fight hbo felt raheem should have won and they also said why is the ref interferring so much.
4 lbs makes a difference the smaller you are. 4 lbs at Pac's level would be equivalent to a move from light-heavyweight to cruiserweight for a 175 lbs man.
Steward's comment makes plenty of sense given that Pac used to be like 108 or 112 lbs.
True but pacman is the exception their is always exceptions to the rule. especially since most of pacmans weight is in his legs.
Pacman is adjusting to 130 pounds, and he can take a better punch because of his neck muscles, when he was a 112 pounds he really drained his body to make that weight, this night he came in at the junior welterweight 140 limit.

hmm
This has notting to do about being a bunch of cry babys. I think you've mistaken us for Bitchkins. Manny Stewart also said that Pac doesn't have any power at 130. I think Stewart is an idiot. 4 pound don't make a big difference.

It was mostly Stewart, who was clearly on Raheems dick. I think Morales should just stay at 130. I heard at fightnews that the rematch with Pac is still on.
