Exactly, why would you continue to be in a sport where you break your hands in every single fight and as the sun begins to shine a storm is close to follow you know? In boxing you use your fists, if they keep breaking that is a hint to get out of the sport...You need your hands.....Perhaps though Malignaggi should get a good hand wrapper and use some winning gloves, it has done wonders for Mayweather and Morales. Ya I think paulie uses winning. But I believe 6 months was not enough time for his hands to recover if he gets that surgery again he needs to rest for a whole year and let them harden up the bones.

I hated this guy. I saw him fight once on I think ESPN and he was a cocky ass bitch like naseem. He has zip power and in the upper pro ranks, you can't get far without power no matter how skillful you are. You will run into another skillful boxer who also has power. Now I say you can't get far though I'm not saying, he couldn't.

Good read, I read that early this morning...I feel that Malignaggi is being smart by doing so. It is a shame but he wouldnt have made a tremendous impact, it is best to go without being exposed I guess....He had skill but wouldnt have lasted in the divisions he planned to fight in. Either way he would always have to have a day job. I feel he is gonna pop up again! hahaah the guy knows his division is to strong, and he is probally gonna come back in 2 years. he wants guys like floyd to move up, cotto to move up, and he is hoping some of the other top fighters retire or get in a couple of wars that wear you down or move up in weight. I bet you anything he is gonna be keeping in shape. What does this guy got besides boxing? he is a high school drop out he aint gonna retire for long.
