I dont have a problem with nuthuggers unless they think there fighter is unbeatable, and could beat everyone.
I consider my self a nuthugger in the sense that I support my fighter wether the odds are good, or bad.
I've seen yer posts and I think you're logical and is not a nuthugger.
You're mo like a nutsucker, but people has to take it literraly cuz
I know you do that.
Nyahahahahahaha
nuthugger: sumone who thinks his fav fighta will win gainst anybody despite fact that he got no chance.
example: Roy nuthuggers right now.
Morales nuthuggers thinking Erik KO's Corrales
etc.
Brewer would of been an easy win for Jones.
but not as easy as frazier, brannon, the garbage men, the cops and fire fighters he was fighting instead...
I admire Tyson's and Eubank's talents as boxers, they were totally different stylistically but I really admired their talents at their peaks. And atleast they weren't steroid junkies like Holyfield, Lewis, Toney and Jones Jr.
Who you like more, Mike Tyson or Chris Eubank??
It's weird because when Tyson KTFO Robert Colay, little did I know at the time that he was staying with a kid called Chris Eubanks (he later deleted the 's' from his surname) at a hotel in New Jersey because Eubanks was due to fight at the same casino a few weeks later (Tyson and Eubanks became friends at 1984 NYC Golden Gloves that they both won, and Eubanks trainer Maximo Pierret was Kevin Rooney's former sparring partner).
No...you EDITED your post.
I quoted the ORIGINAL, FULL post !
Damn, you are a phoney, bro' !
It was Mike Tyson that made me a real fight fan, I'd been watching boxing since the early 80's.
That's what you quoted ;)
Did I say I was a real fight fan while watching boxing in the early 80's? No.
No, I'd been watching boxing since the early 80's but didn't really become a proper fight fan until seeing Tyson come through the ranks on Grandstand. Are you blind? I clearly stated that.

Mid-80's, actually. Unless you were catching Tyson's amateur fights over in England........

You have stated it was Eubank-Watson, maybe Eubank-Benn, that made you a fight fan.
It was watching Mike Tyson coming through the ranks on Grandstand that made me a real fight fan, I'd been watching boxing since the early 80's though (Bruno, McGuigan, Bomber Graham, Minter, Honeyghan et al).
"I want to win the world title and defend it many times" - Ayub Kalule prior to his fight with Graham
But Graham retired him, Kalule was planning to go on for much longer because he was in such good form but Graham retired him with a sizzling performance. I suppose Kalule losing to Graham is a little like the Hamed losing to Barrera (he got embarassed and hid away).
Whoa....Kalule actually said that ?
Wow, he himself said it...so he must have been fighting at his best when he lost to Graham.
You know, Tommy Hearns thinks he can win a title, also.....
brewer repeatedly called out RJ, but never got the fight... although i think RJ would have killed him, brewer may have been too dangerous an opponent for jones(compared to the bums jones was fighting, like frazier, brannon, hall, etc.)
Brewer would of been an easy win for Jones.
I have acknowledged, REPEATEDLY YOU ASSWIPE, that Kalambay did give Ray a tough, tough night. When have I ever said otherwise ?
You have stated it was Eubank-Watson, maybe Eubank-Benn, that made you a fight fan.
I have been a fight fan since right before Leonard fough Kalule.
I have a greater frame of reference than you. You're getting your shit second to fifth-handed, by some really biased fight people.
I live in Philadelphia....so, I'm going to be like you .....& tell everyone that Herol Graham was in his prime when he was KO'd by Charles Brewer.
Yeah...Graham was coming off a big win, perhaps his best, over Chris Johnson.
I'll just ignore the KO's he suffered, & the time past before he beat Johnson.
But,all of you here in the forum need to know....Charles Brewer,
my Philly boy, beat Graham when Graham was at his best.

He lost to Moore and McCallum in 1982 in their backyards, but by 1985 he hit his prime and made Kalambay look bad! Then came Graham who embarassed him into retirement in what was a shockingly great performance from Bomber that no doubt scared the living shit out of Hagler.
You can't change what happened, as much as you want to ;)
You cannot change the fact that Sugar Ray Leonard says that his most difficult ever win was Kalule.

Whatever....
He was beaten by a ten-fight VETERAN in Davey Moore....& was beaten silly by McCallum.
But....he was in his prime because he beat Sumbu Kalambay ?
Only in your world, sunshine.
