ali did not use weights in his workout.
(note- none of ali's sparring sessions were anything close to wars, he always preferred casual sparring and usually one or two minute rounds just to get the feel)

10 mins body bag (all-out)
he did 10 rounds of sparring instead of 10 rounds of body bag when he could get the right sparring partners (he had trouble getting sparring partners because he would make it a war!)
every morning he did 100 sit ups, 100 push ups and then jogging the streets
his only training in the last few days before the fight was shadow boxing in a sauna.
He should have been Lennox Lewis partner to knock that sisiness out of Lennox.
