wtf that's pathetic when roy's fans make excuses for him. rjj is extremely talented, but tarver is talented as well. to deny tarver's skill shows some lack of boxing knowledge from how i see it. first fight should've been a draw. neither of them won by a decisive margin. revenge match was purely tarver's. perfect shot combined with perfect timing. i'd say they're fighting on the same level, which should make this rubbermatch very interesting. its obvious you only saw news highlights rj vs at 1 roy only lost 3 rounds (only from laying on them ropes) how can you draw when you rarely land clean. roy whipped his ass rj vs at 2 roy got caught. true. tarver didnot intend to doit the way it happened. eys shut and just to shut yal silly bastards up. ANYTIME you drop muscle weight you mess up ya body. from ruiz to tarver he should have taken alot more time to adjust back to lightheavy. mark my words young buck. after a year of rest , roy will be back hitting hard as hell youll see him hitting with more power than in the last two fights. tarver will be dropped in rnd 6 then punished for the duration of the bout. i hope it goes all 12 but more likeley than not the ref or buddy mcgirt will call a halt to the bout. tarver is a good solid fighter, and he back up his words, but roy jones jr is a way better fighter, he just have to go in this fight with true focus, a focus rj can destroy tarver.

i couldnt give two shits about who wins this "fight". jones is past his prime, and tarver has been beating up on old men like himself. jones should retire and tarver should clean up his act. fuckin trash mouth.

Money speaks alot louder than words. For real. I am pretty sure it isn't going to happen but I wish that Jones Jr., Tarver and Johnson would all fight one another at least one more time. I guess there is a good chance that the winner of Jones Jr. versus Tarver will take on Johnson again? I guess two out of three ain't bad. :)

Tarver's strength is in his mouth. If Roy can manage to break his jaw there is no way Tarver can win. Seriously, Tarver is a good fighter. His personality is good for the sport. Fighters talk. It happens. This one will be different from the last one.

After the Johnson-Jones fight, Tarver said that Roy was washed up and should never fight again. Now, who's jumping at the chance to fight him! Yes a hyprocrite, but a rich hypocrite. I dont blame him thats where the money is and after all he deserves an easy fight..

Tarver's inactivity didn't impress me. If he didn't land that punch, he'd be down on the scorecards. He was banking too much on one punch. It was fun seeing Roy KOd honestly, after all those fights where he would play with his opponents and not getting them out when he knew he could/should.

Well, I think Tarver only threw like 8 punches that night. I wasn't impressed at all because he was losing the fight. That's what's impressive about it. It was just such a perfect punch. Glen's victory was against a guy who sat on the ropes for eight of nine rounds, and threw few flurries throughout the fight, minus round 4, where he had Glen backing up real fast when he threw a four punch left-handed combo.
