Bob Fitzsimmons!
I pick Bob Fitzsimmons, & John Mugabi, Fitz was at his best at MW, but could knock out HeavyWeights, Julian Jackson hit harder at JMW, where I rate him the hardest at that weight, but when he moved up to MW, he lost a bit of power, so I can't rank him the hardest at MW which was not his best division.
& Harry Greb, was a windmill puncher, but not a power guy, otherwise,he would not have been known to throw so many punches, why, because if he had hit for great power, he would not have needed so many Punches.
Gerald Mclellan I would rate about J. Jackson at MW,
Hagler & Graziano hit hard with both hands and are top 10 MW
I rate Eugen Hart & Florentino Fernandez both just under Mugabi & Fitz,
Edison Miranda & Author Abraham & Kelly Pavlik are all top 15 for sure, & close to top 10,
William Lee, Stanley Ketchel & Jorge Castro are top 15, but definitely a tie between Fitz & Mugabi
which one of these is the hardest hitter?
my vote is for stanley ketchel.
dont u think its kinda weird u didn't put tommy hearns up there????
dam he could punch!
i have these fights in my
collection.
hagler vs. hearns
hagler vs. mugabi
hagler vs. leonard
hagler vs. hamsho
hagler vs. antuofermo
he hits hard.
No shit...but you voted for him as the hardest hitter, & that's just not the case.
He was a hard-hitter, but more of a technician & combination puncher.
Hearns, Jackson, McClellan, Mugabi....they were heavier hitters.
I would say, however, he had one of the hardest jabs, lb4lb, in the history of the sport.
You obviously never saw him fight.
McKay obviously has.
I'm the biggest Hagler fan you'll find, but I won't say he was a great PUNCHER. He was a great FIGHTER, however.

Hagler is one my favorite fighters ever. But he really was not a big puncher. He was a solid puncher but certainly not the hardist hitting middleweight ever. His straight right hand was probably the best ever but Hagler was more a wear you down and stop you late type fighter and he had a great KO percentage.
Too many people have only seem in vs Hearns and Leonard it seems. His last 2 fights. I thought he looked very unsharp vs Leonard compared to in other fights.
Accurate post.

you think robinson had all time great power at middleweight jabs ?*
he still had awesome power at MW but he was out of this world at welterweight IMO.
Look at the left hook he dropped & KO'd Fullmer (a bull) with.....the right hand he dropped Turpin with...his KO's of Bobo Olson...
The man was still pretty lethal at 160.
