talk about being overhyped and overrated, maybe harrison was off tonite, but if he is the future of the heavyweight division, we are in some serious trouble...
any thoughts?
If people are expecting Harrison to be in exciting fights then I think they'll be disappointed cos he's just so naturally cautious but when he gets a guy in trouble & lets his hands go he looks the business and I didn't see any sign of protest from Wiggins when the fight was stopped so the stoppage was fine, if he wanted to go on i'm sure he would've been more vocal about it, I didn't like that little shake of the legs by Harrison though, it'll be interesting to see what happens when he's in with a puncher who's not a foot smaller than him :boxing:
to be fair to the big guy, he finished wiggins pretty early, i thought wiggins might have taken him the distance or late into he fight. 33 is not young, but for a heavyweight it's still not too bad, some heavyweights peak at about 35, but harrison needs to hurry up.
so big Audley stops a man in 4, somethign only derek bryant coudl do ages ago and then he got taken the distance, also went the distance with top ten contenders Monte Barret and de varryl williamson yet AUd is rubbish.
hnmm usual one biased bullshit me thinks.
how boring.
Yeah, he's better than people on here are giving him credit for that's for sure. I think he's a legitimate threat as weak as the heavy division is right now. He's got pretty decent power, and a quick left hand. Guys like that can be tricky to fight.
Well said. People on this forum criticism and laugh at Audley just because everyone else is doing it. Its a bandwagon thing. The guy has potential to win a belt and I believe he will.
i haven't seen harrison fight...is he good? if so, how good?
Yeah, he's better than people on here are giving him credit for that's for sure. He's just not that exciting and never has been. I can tell a lot of people haven't seen much of his fights, cause he didn't do anything different than he normally does. He took a couple shots, but he wasn't really that hurt, just got caught off gaurd. He regained himself quickly and got the guy outta there.
He works very patiently behind the jab, waiting to counter with his chopping left hand. The fight was really boring though, he should use his size and impose his will on people more often.

I like Direll's style
'once i get em hurt, ill just throw the left hook and left uppercut over and over, and just ignore my right hand'
isnt that dude from flint..theres parts of that place that are pretty damn rough..not to mention the 8 year old killers
yeah hes from flint, but not the tough part, hes from the chris byrd part, lol.
actually i liked dirrells style a lot too.
whoever the fuck wiggins is id like to see the 20 sorry ass bums that he has beaten, that made me want to become a professional fighter, i could be as good as him.
most definitly, but i still cant believe all this hype about harrison
he looked terrible, then after the fight, he was praising his preformance! kind of sad, its not like he was fighting a legitimate boxer, maybe he was at one point, but not anymore
