I'm sure this has already been talked about but a month later one of the biggest injustices in boxing history still stings. Bernard Hopkins won that fight-I know it and so does most people. A recent poll on ESPN shows that most of America believes a bad decision happened in Taylor Vs. Hopkins. The poll stated 41% people think Taylor won. 35% think Hopkins won and 24% think it was a draw. That means that a total of 59% of people polled believe that Taylor did not deserve the decision. I do not recognise Taylor as the Middlweight Champion because Hopkins is still the champion no matter what these crooked judges scored. Hopkins had Taylor hanging on for dear life at the later half of the fight. The rightful man is not at the throne right now. A great injustice in the world of boxing. Disgusting.
Also most of 24% who said it was draw stated that if they were forced to pick a winner they would lean toward Hopkins. The people have spoken.
Thats some good bullshit, but I also went to a site who had a poll, and 58% of the people though Taylor won. Even fightnews.com scored the fight for Taylor.
My poll was from ESPN on TV who has more credibility than fightnews.com. I fixed the first page so that it is now clearer what was stated about the poll that most people think Hopkins won and there is a false Champion on the throne right now.
I forgot to add that most of the 24% who said it was a draw stated that if forced to pick a winner they would lean toward Hopkins.

Dude you just ut up statistics that show that more people think Taylor won, remember 41% of people think Taylor won opposed to the 35% who think Hopkins won?

Most people think Hopkins won. Hopkins had said everwhere he goes people say "You the champ the judges ripped you off". Every true boxing fan knows what happened. No crooked judges can fool a real boxing fan.

Ok using that logic 65% people KNOW that Hopkins didn't win, that 6% more percent, giving Taylor the justified edge.

Taylor beat Hopkins fair and square, and most of America agrees, even your statistics agree. You gotta let it go. There will be a rematch, where Taylor will permanently put Hopkins lights out.

59% of people think that Taylor did not win. Correction they KNOW he did not win.

Taylor is the false disputed beltholder. He is not the champ.

What kind of statistics are those? According to you only 35% voted for Hopkins, while 40+% voted for Taylor, and the rest thought it was a draw? What kind of bullshit are you tryin to prove, 59% percent of the people didnt think Hopkins won, only 35% while, 40+% thought Taylor won. You shut yourself down by putting up your statistics and trying to use them toward your side.
Jermain Taylor is the Middleweight champ, and come the rematch, he will knock Hopkins out this time.

Your judging is biased due to your hate for Hopkins. The people have spoken 59% say and know that Taylor did not win.

You said that 40+% voted for Taylor as the winner of that fight and only around 35% for Hopkins, so how is that injust. That means more people thought Taylor won instead of Hopkins. This isn't a super math, Taylor came for the belts and he got them.
Actually it is 35% said Hopkins won plus another 24% who said that it was a draw and Taylor didnt do enough to win. The people have spoken, 59% do not agree with the decision.
For real? Then get you a picket sign, march around the WBC Headquarters in Mexico City, and demand that your man be reinstated. Don't give me that bullshit. Fine, then I recognize Al Gore as President. If I call Gore "Mr. President", he'd probably give me a weird look and tell me to get the fuck off his lawn.
This is not the presidency. This is boxing and Hopkins really won therefore he is the real champion. where as taylor is a paper champion.
I lost nothing because public opinion shows that most people do not recognise Taylor as Champion. The people have spoken. And Tito still got KTFO you nuthugger.
