(I really believe him)
Harrison 'ready to conquer world'
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/4146318.stm
Audley Harrison has declared himself ready to dominate the heavyweight division.
The 33-year-old has been criticised for slow progress in the pro ranks since becoming an Olympic champion in 2000.
"There is no more grooming, my time is now and I am ready to take over," said Harrison ahead of his 18 August fight against US journeyman Robert Wiggins.
"Boxing fans have waited for me to step up and challenge the best and now we're ready - and I mean immediately."
Harrison has his sights on Sam Peter and Calvin Brock as possible opponents after his date with Wiggins in San Jose.
Unbeaten Nigerian Peter meets Wladimir Klitschko in September, while Brock has 26 straight wins, including those over Jameel McCline and Clifford Etienne.
"My offers remain open to Brock or Peter if they believe I am just all talk.
"Forget money, location, network, to me it is all about pride and confidence.
"After I knock out Wiggins, let's do this for the heavyweight division and more importantly, the fans. I am certainly willing to put it all on the line."
I just thought i'd post this, its probably useless because Audley Harrison is useless. He sure knows how to get talented and throw it all away, i doubt he'll ever fight a top 10 heavy never mind beat one
I Wonder though if a decent fighter would bring out the best of him and then we see if he can REALLY hack it?
i think his best has been and gone and i thiink any decent fighter would beat him
Not really look at who hes fought and how hes beat them, i'd be amazed if he beats a top tenner let alone a legit title, he has some skills but i think his heart will let him down

We won't know for sure until he fights a decent fighter, until then it's guesswork isn't it? :boxing:

hes too soft mart thats why, i watched him ko julius long, a mate (sort of) was fighting on the undercard, and couldn't believe how bad long was, and he hasn't stepped up much since ;)
Thats the way not to do it Mr Harrison and its all your own fault
Harrison has proved fuck all except that being a good heavy amateur doesn't automatically make you a good pro even if you are at your prime strength age and the division is the weakest its been for years, brock has shown him up a treat imo, too much money too soon, he has no heart, the first fight he loses he'll retire and say well at least i was olympic champ and did the pro game my way
Just to point out that you don't win those Olympic medals if you can't fight, he's got ability maybe he's FINALLY going to do something as a Pro. :boxing:
ha ha ha ha ha. is this a joke or another British idots overhype. Harrison can hardly beat bums and he's been fighting bums, now he wants to conquer. ha ha ha ha ha. Ok he might might win one belt but this dude will never be undisputed. He's an old fart and that would be his legacy. a guy who fart his way in and fart his way out. ha ha hah
Why does nationallity always come into it?? Your such a fucking idiot!!
