This is assuming the winner of Peter/Wlad goes on to KO Byrd.
Opinions and comments?
:feedback:
I mean if Wladimir wins and goes on to beat Byrd, we'll still have four champs as the case will be if Peter does so, but we know that Wlad and Vitali will never face each other.
But yeah, let me get your opinions.
Hey I appreciate that for what its worth , I am new to this anyway what does that karma line and all that shit mean could you fill me in a little fellow Floridian ,where you at in FL too.
...Just below you man. Palmetto. I got a bunch of business going in the St. Pete area right now so I'm over there quite a bit.
I don't think he will be good for the divison, he simply has too many flaws to be a great champion, he looks to be one of those guys who will have a lot of good looking knockout wins, but will come unstuck against good slick boxers etc.
...Since your a fellow Floridian I will let the comment about Wlad slide and not turn your Karma line red. :)

Wlad won't win he sucks monkey ass even if Peter is unproven he has to be better than Corey Sanders.

You may be getting too excited with this one.
If Wlad wins I think it is a great step in the right but too say he is back is premature.
If Peter wins the buzz is huge but too say he is going to steam roll the division is premature as well.
Not being a ba humbug, I cant wait for the fight but put it into perspective.
I meant it more as how the media or the boxing world will take it.
If Wlad beats Peter...
that will mean Wlads back with his confidence!
A big skilled, giant, fast, strong, boxer puncher is better than a one dimensional slugger...
I think you could look at this fight either way. Whoever wins could and should go on to great things! Wlads back or Peter steemroles through the division!

Do you think big brother will try to come out to avenge Wlad's loss, though?
Absolutely, that is one of the things I like about VK...his fire! Remember after Sanders ko'd Wlad VK was trying to fight Corrie right then and there.
The fact that a Peter win would probably lead to a fight with VK is the beauty of the Wlad v. Peter matchup. Peter v. Wlad then Peter v. VK...if Peter can go thru the boys the buzz will be real loud and the HW division will back in play.
i dont understand,?? are you saying, when wlad was training, they got peter as a sparring partner? can sum one explain to me what that means,??
Yes, he was training for a fight in 2001 or 2002 can't remember, but Sam Peter was one of his sparring partners. Wlad supposedly made him look foolish just by using that jab of his. In all honesty Peter has never been tested by anyone with a jab like Wlad's. If Wlad plays it safe, and uses his size/jab he will win. Only way Peter wins is if Wlad gets gassed like in the Brewster fight or if Peter lands one of his haymakers. Wlad KNOWS that Peter is probably the hardest puncher he has faced so he will be a lot more cautious than normal. If he just boxes, and doesn't try to force anything I say late KO or stoppage.
having an undefeated kayo artist like peter is much much better for boxing then having wlad win, even if he beats peter its a matter of time before he gets brutally knocked out again, we need new blood and Sam Peter is it
I definitely agree with you on that one man. Having peter around would be much better for the sport and one thing about Peturd he at least fights regularly. This fight could go either way as peter is untested and wet behind the ears and Wilma Klitchko is a shot fighter one left hook from peturd and Wilma will be nothing more than a bowl of Jello pudding again.
Do you think big brother will try to come out to avenge Wlad's loss, though?
That is what the Klitchkos do. If one loses the other figures out where his brother made mistakes and then fights the guy in his next match. Either way hopefully peter can stop Wlad and then go on to stop Valerie Klitchko. Even if Peturd wins though he probably won't be able to hold on to the belts for long as he is a puncher with no head movement/footwork and he is really short.

You didn't answer the question in the least bit.
I think if Peter wins, it would be better for boxing in the short-term. If Wladimir wins, it would set him up as a #1 contender again. Wlad is probably the most gifted of any heavyweight of the past 10-15 years, however he has a suspect chin and conditioning. Having the better fighter would work out better in the long term.
Peter winning in spectacular fashion is certainly in the best interest of the division, if he comes out with a spectacular KO the buzz will continue and it will surely help our beloved sport.
Wlad is damaged goods and this is his last shot, if he loses you can put a fork in him but if he is able to come out and kick Peter's ass I think it has to do a ton for his confidence and who knows what happens from there. The one thing I will say about Wlad is that he can beat Byrd every day of the weak, it is his kind of fight.
Peter needs to come out swinging, if he does this then Wlad is gonna have problems.

The interesting thing to me about this fight is that Wlad has sparred Peter in the past, and supposedly handled him pretty easy. True Peter has a lot more experience now, and Wlad has gone downhill a little bit. I just think Wlad will use his size/jab to set up a late round KO or stoppage. Peter is still pretty green, and has a lot to learn. I dont think Wlad would have taken this fight if he didnt think he could handle Peter. Peter always has that punchers chance or Wlad could collapse again... LOL.. Interesting fight! This is probably the most interesting HW fight in the past 2-3 years IMO
:boxing:
I will agree anything can happen it is a HW fight but man I just see no heart in Wlad once he gets rocked one good time , I am sure he thought he could beat Sanders and Brewster too but look what happened and I think Peter hits harder than either of those guys who knows we will see that is why they fight.
