Castillo vs. Mayweather *must vote*

mayweather that night, was given a gift. i couldn't believe that i had just witnessed mayweather lose his first fight. i was SOOOO pissed when they read that bullshit score. i LOVED, however, how the crowd embraced castillo and the public knew the fracas they had witnessed. mayweather is the better fighter, no question, but that night - a mexican was blatantly robbed.

MAYWEATHER WON THE FIGHT. I know its hard for the Mexicans and the Floyd haters but MAYWEATHER WON. 7 out of 10 people disagree with you and I bet most of them arent Mexicans. Look I respect a lot of guys opinions on here. Some of those guys think Floyd won and its OK, your opinion is your opinion. Nobody can take it from you but the fact STILL stands the majority of people who saw the fight think Castillo won.

Castillo fought a great fight, did better than anyone thought he would, which tends to make people give them rounds, even when they didn't actually win. Floyd was the better fighter, and showed why in the 2nd fight.

NO, but I can bet my life that PBF will win that poll easily. Probably, because the average person who would vote knows little about boxing past of what they see on ESPN. So when they hear a stat that says Mayweather is undefeated on his record the lay person will vote clearly for him. People are sheep.

The difference is you gonna have like 20,000 people voting on ESPN poll, we don't even have 100 people on this poll yet. Half the poll is Mexican & British fans. And I'm sure on the ESPN poll there's a lot of Mexicans who manage to vote.... should there vote be negated somehow?

Wow 40+ people on this site doesn't tell you shit. Go have this poll on ESPN & you will see who won the fight. We have like 19 Mexican votes here. There is a difference between an ESPN poll and a poll on a boxing website. ESPN people will vote for popularity if they have no opinion, or they're simply misinformed. Most boxing fans on this site have seen the match more than once I'd say and actually have educated opinions about boxing and its decisions.

PBF won the 1st fight but it was close. I've always said about that fight that the crowd was pro Castillo & if JLC threw a punch in the direction of PBF they'd start cheering & screaming. The fight was close up until the championship rounds. Mayweather stood in the pocket for the championship rounds and made Cstillo miss while countering and landing nicely. I THOUGHT FLOYD DID REAL GOOD IN THE 11TH BUT THE 12TH CASTILLO WON IT.

When you have a poll on a hardcore boxing site that supports one fighter at a 75% rate and the other at a 25% rate, it is CLEAR. I saw the fight, and Castillo was CLEARLY robbed. Floyd is an HBO fighter (and many of you say HBO commentators hug "their" fighters' nuts) and even the HBO crew believed he lost. But, the rematch Floyd won clearly by all accounts. I haven't seen that fight yet though. mayweather mayweather clearly won. i had it like 10-2 but the closest it could have been was 8-4 thats the absolute worst mayweather did. mayweather landed the much more effective punches. he was more accurate and everything. for some reason the HBO team favored castillo and sucked his nuts the whole fight. thats the only reason why a lot of people think castillo was robbed. if they would have called the fight correctly then no one would question this. BTW WHAT HAPPENED IN THE REMATCH? DID CASTILLO WIN A ROUND?

The second fight was a boring fight. Castillo was bruised at the end of the fight. Mayweather was just landing combos and everything. Just not a good fight. Mayweather didnt knock him down once. Mayweather lost the first fight but beat him in the second fight. no one ask about the second fight.this is a poll of the first.IMO the second fight was close but you can say Mayweather won but in no way did he dominate Castillo like he does other fighters.
