First of,I must say BHOP is fuckin nuts. He's 40 yr old and he still has huge chance to beat any top dawgs right now. Unlike Roy Jones, Trinidad and (Thomas fuckin Hearns) who I think should stay retire, I think Hopkins should stay in ta game. He's still capable of bringing good match ups in ta division. That being said, I WANT A WINKY MATCH UP! He'll do way betta than Tito and we might even see WINKY lose fo ta first time in 6 years. I doubt it though. Winky would beat BHop!

Monzon and Hagler are both top 5. But neither of them is in the top 20 p4p.

This was created in order to measure a smaller fighter's talent compared to a heavyweight. for instance: John Ruiz would knock Kostya Tszyu out in one round. Who is the "better fighter" though? A smaller man stands no chance against the bigger man....hence the ratings system. Heavy's are generally shit so they dont normally make the grade, but P4P just means that if everyone was the same weight who would win. So if Ali was the same size a Leonard, who would win, etc. You cant cut out heavy because in reality they are bigger than everyone else, P4P is about fighters being the same size. Heavyweights are not supreme anyway, Toney and Jones have proved that.

Exceptional heavyweights or light heavyweights who have moved up and succeded in the heavyweight division can be considered p4p greats. However, most great p4p guys have taken the challenge to move up in weight, and beat guys who were naturally bigger and stronger than them. Duran, Robinson, Langford, Greb are all examples of guys who appear atop most p4p lists. Hopkins can't be mentioned in the same breath as any of them. Hopkins has made a career of feasting on blown up welterweights. Now the word is he will take on Winky Wright. lol, now theres a real surprise.

Pound is pound list are made for great fighters who are in lower division . You got it all wrong. Thats strange i always though P4P was a "who beats who" ranking, regardless of weight, so i assume the heavier fighters are able to join in. P4P is just someone's opinion away, i dont take much notice of it because it cant be proved.

Hopkins was a 3 to 1 underdog against Tito and he beat the crap out of him. Hopkins does not have to moved up, Monzon and Hagler never moved up but they still get a lot of recognition and respect. That's true but they aren't considered p4p greats, just middleweight greats, which is what Hopkins is. And even though he was the underdog against Tito, you have to remember that tito is a natural welterweight. I give Trinidad more props for taking on a challenge than i do Hopkins. That guy has never moved out of his comfort zone and he never will.
