Nobody willing to pay $50,000 for Juan Manuel Marquez's IBF mis-mandatory!
August 05, 2005 - For the second time in three weeks the IBF held a purse bid for Juan Manuel Marquez to face his mandatory defense against F. Rakkiatgym, and for the second time in three weeks promoters Bob Arum or Murad Muhammad didn't bother to enter the $50,000 minimum bid on behalf of their fighters.

LMAO, he should've taken the rematch with Pacquiao, made fraction more bucks, and the possiblity of making a name by possibly beating Pacquiao (though I wouldn't hold my breath, as it would've been a boring dicision "if" he succeeded, IMHO). What's next for JMM? Move up and challenge Pacquiao for a rematch, or fight one of the tittle at 130?

dont think
that they think
that he isnt worth the $50gs
they know he is
it isnt worth that much money becuz their fighters will run a major risk of losing
so its not like
nah
it aint worth 50gs to make the fight
it aint worth 50gs to put my fighter in sucha tough spot
fighting Rakiatgymclassinschool (a nobody Pacman destroyed in 30 seconds) is a HUGE RISK???!!!! Your knowledge matches yer face. nyahahahaha!

I just have one thing to say about this..., if your promoters don't have enough in them, to back you for $50,000, what makes you think that people are going to pay for your fights??? Something fishy going on. He is a great fighter...If I were him, I would have went and gotten a loan or something. This just isn't right.
JMM is getting the jacked by Arum, of course, he is worth much more than that. But because Arum knows that he screwed JMM out of big fights and JMM is gonna leave him he is trying to make his life a living hell. And Muhammad is just a pawn in the big game controlled by Arum.
JMM did one mistake, he priced himself out of one fight with pacquiao big deal, the truth was both him and pacquiao deserved more than they were getting, unfortunately him having the balls to ask for what he deserves and many fighters at his weight deserve cost him big time.
JMM thinks to much of himself
i agree he is a masterful boxer but boxing is a buisness 1st. and he is not a draw but feels he should be getting paid as such outpriced himself in the potential pac re-match i belive he got offered 800,000 $ and turned it down and now look at him he should of took the fight and the $ he got offered if he would of won he could of set up a fight with morales and gotten atleast a mil now he can't even get 50,000...
