If any of u follow Jones, u would kno that he left his father earlier in his career and went with another trainer...I just read this on another website...do u think this will have a positive affect on Jones performence against Tarver?
maybe if some of you geeks ever lifted a weight in your life you would know what its like to gain large amount of muscle and then just lose it like that. its a huge deal, especially at 35 you loser. judging by your avatar your a skinny little chump and the heaviest weight you ever lifted in your life is fucking beer can, stop talking shit about shit you don't know about geek
Muscles deflate if you don't lift for a while.
Example, Ricky Williams.
While playing for the Dolphins he was around 225+
When he left he got all the way down to 180lbs.
hmm
here is the source to confirm that Roy Sr. will be in his corner?
And...where can I see this RJJ doc? I know they were supposed to show it on HBO around the Ruiz fight but they NEVER did. I want to see that. I know it involves him prepping for Ruiz.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Jones keep all of his clothes on for that weigh in?
yes, he wore all his clothes cuz he didn't want to show his body to the public until fight night.
if you see the roy jones documentary, roy weighed in at 193 at the weigh-in. When he weighed at 193, he was shocked cuz he thought he weighed more. So he asked that guy who weighed him..are u sure it was 193??
Later, he weighed himself at the hotel, and he was 200 lbs. The next day, at the unofficial weigh in, he weighed at 199, and that guy who weighed him the day before admitted that he weighed him wrong. So this aint no conspiracy theory.

What a lame ass conspiracy theory. "The guy who weighed him messed up" give me a break. How can the guy "mess up" by 7 pounds.

he didn't weigh 193. At the weigh- in, he weighed 193 but that dude who weighed him made a mistake and in actuality he weighed around 200.

Another thing he was 193 before the fight with Ruiz. By the time the 12 rounds were over. He was probably already weight like 187, probably less.

Roys mucsle loss did pretty much destroy him. If he was younger maybe he could have worked through it. His body looks completely different before in did the whole weight gain/loss thing. His body looks like a shell of his former self literally.. All that time off only could help though. Hopefully
For f***k sake. That is such a lame excuse. The whole weight fluctuation thing. He only went up to the weight of 193 to fight Ruiz!!! He went up 19 pounds. Then he lost 18 pounds to fight Tarver over 8 monthes later at 175. 175 and 193 NOT A BIG DIFFERENCE for a pro athelete, with a nutrionist, a pro personall trainer or two...And didn't he take roids to gain the 18 pounds? So when he stopped taking those roids and stopped lifting weights ( if he lifted weights, he was just loosing the gains he made with the roids.)
Alot fighters at lower weight classes fluctuate f***ing 15 or pounds or so in 1 day.
What weight do you think Roy Jones walks around at anyway. I would bet on a long layoff something near 190 pounds or more. And look at James Toney. He gains 40 pounds in between every fight, no matter what weight class he is in.
