NEWFLASH: Injin Chi pulls out of Juarez fight!

This kind of stuff is killing hbo.fucking disappointing. and as a sidenote,EVEN THOUGH it was chi who pulled out,i bet people are gonna give Juarez crap if he goes ahead with some last minute opponent.f@cking haters. Already has happened Jorge Lacierva will be fighting Juarez....Bet you never heard of him lol.

Well who backed out, and why? Just like the topic says Chi pulls out with an injury. Later being revealed it was caused be a broken tendon in his foot.

INJIN CHI vs. ROCKY JUAREZ OFF!!!!! wtf man, i thought this would be the fight of the year, and HBO's first great non ppv fight in a while. Too bad for HBO, and for boxing fans. Thats what i dislike most about boxing....fighters pulling out of fights due to injuries at the LAST MUTHER FUCKIN MOMENT! FUCK!

I've seen Chi fight Morales and Michael Brodie of England twice and he is a hell of a tough fighter. He's durable as hell and beats you down as he did to Brodie. Even knocked Brodie down in the first fight in like the 3rd rd just from the crazy amount of punches he threw at him. I don't think Rocky has been tested yet in a war that Chi would provide. It would be a 50/50 pick if Rocky can survive the onslaught Chi always brings though it's not saying the Rock doesn't have a chance. Chi is definitely a test though and I wouldn't be surprised if Chi did beat Rocky down to give him his first loss. I think this is a good assesment! I would not be surpised either way.

How many people are basing their opinion of Chi off of a fight that took place a long time ago? Juarez lucky? I dont know how you could say that...Juarez appears to have ridiculous power and Chi from what I know of him stands right in front of you (not like Raheem)...this may have been a perfect opponent for Rock... It is a close fight for sure but to say that Chi is going to wipe the floor with Rock is simply falling way too much into the hype... Chi is the perfect opponent for Rocky. Another thing people have to remember is that Morales always makes his fights difficult and the Chi fight was no exception. Chi is tough as hell but he was perfect for Rocky to look great against.

HBO has to be shaking their fucking heads, this was a cant miss action fight for them, they wont stay in a slump forever but boy Showtime is having a hell of a year.

Damn I was really looking forward to this fight so that Juarez could shut all the doubter's mouths. Chi and Raheem are two different fighters. Chi is made to order and Raheem is made to be difficult for Juarez. Chi would of been defeated by Juarez.

Good thing I already dropped 500 bucks on tickets... Surely the card's not off; it was just one of the undercards? You have my condolences, neils, sucks to lose a fight of that caliber. They'll probably throw Juarez in with some nobody now so that he can score another "spectacular" early-round KO.

The whole card isnt off just the best fight on the card. That was why I decided to go to this one instead of Byrd/Lyakhovich. Of course by the time the fight rolled around Byrd was pulled out of that one, too. If I'd known they were going to add Mayorga to the card, I would have chosen that one. Couldn't really afford to hit Chi-town two weeks in a row... Hopefully, the promoters will be put another match-up with guys with names on the card...
