OK idiot, I was thinking about the old article. I don't know shit about the new article And that's why you look like an idiot. You came into a thread not understaning the topic, and then tried to educate me when you had no idea what you were talking about. If you'd care to READ what was being discussed, you wouldn't have needed to post at all. Jones VS. Hopkins will never happen. Hopkins clearly said on July 12Th that he will not fight a guy that was knocked out by Glen Johnson. He said I KO Johnson, even if he beats Jones, what will this prove. Nowehre did anyone say the fight was going to happen, so your comments arguing with me about the fight not coming off look equally stupid. The guy asked what was in the latest boxingtalk interview and I answered him. HOPKINS called Roy THIS WEEK and offered to fight him at 60(Hopkins) to 40 (Jones). Jones said he wasn't interested. Instead of jumping in like a child craving attention, try READING about what's being discussed.

You have it wrong. Hopkins wanted a 50/50, it was Jones that wanted 60%. You're an idiot. Don't tell me I'm wrong about relaying an artcile you've never read. He asked about the locked interview on Boxingtalk, and I just said what's in it. What I mentioned in my post above IS what it says, and your assertion has nothing to do with the article or what's in it.

You have it wrong. Hopkins wanted a 50/50, it was Jones that wanted 60%. Jones wanted 60/40 in 2001. But I read this article that Jones would accept a 50/50 now.

Boxrec has RJ fighting Tarver...so I think that will happen.

It doesn't say much. Something to the effect of Bernard called him and offered to fight him, Bhop taking 60%, offering Roy 40%. All it really says is that's what Roy said, and that he figures that to mean Hopkins isn't interested in fighting, because he wants the bigger share of the purse. He does mention that he's currently in training though...
