why does margarito have a date on showtime against a no name opponent?

well he obviously didnt want mayweather to bad. he could have fought him on nov.12 and it would have been easy since arum promotes them both. now hes taking joshua clottey on? ok people talk about judah fighting mitchell? why no bad talk about this fight. also mitchell is a lot better than anyone tony has ever fought much less beaten. yeah he fought santos who isnt on mitchells level and thats his best opponent and what happened? he lost. showtime is really going down hill with their fights. is stupid enough that they are determined to only put one card on the first of the month but at least make them good. margarito doesnt deserve to be main event unless its against a big name fighter that will beat him.

HAHAA Tony Margarito could kick the shit out of anyone in the 147 pounds and if mayweather wants to try some mexican punching he will get it and will get knocked out! Margarito is a bigger version of Castillo,(not as good but same type style) I dont think Floyd would want any more controversal wins on his record.Im not saying Mayweather cant win but this is a very tough fight for him.Margarito does have the power to ko floyd but the problem would be catching floyd.floyd's defense is the best in the business and his offense is great also but againts a guy like Margarito his offense will have to be second.

Just recently before the talks about the Wright fight began Mayweather said that he would move up to fight Margarito. Since then Mayweather hasn't mentioned him so Margarito said he is moving on.

Then that's one of the main reasons Mayweather and Judah should fight him. I would favor both to beat Margarito but it's Margarito who has tried to make those fights happen not them. I can remember maybe twice him calling them out other than that zab immediately called him oput after the cintron fight calling him one dimensional, mayweather i dont think has called him out. mayweather and judah have so many more tougher and bigger money fights. this guy does not deserve the shot as much as people claim so much. his best win is six heads and other good wins are antonio diaz and cintron and thats it. thats the only good fighters hes beat.

Margarito is fighting Clottey because no one wanted to fight him. He tried to make the Mayweather fight but Floyd wanted to fight Wright. Now that the Wright fight is a no deal the Margarito camp says that Mayweather hasn't contacted them about a fight. He wanted to fight Judah as well but I don't think Margarito was ever on Judah's radar.
