Will Hopkins really hang it up after this year?

I know that Hopkins made a promise to his dying mother but I'm still not convinced that he is going to quit just yet, for a number of reasons: - Despite his age and the fact that he's slowed down quite a bit since his younger days, his conditioning still kicks ass and it seems odd that someone that can still work himself into fighting shape would stop so suddenly. - Hopkins is still in his prime moneymaking years. Even if he's thinking purely of family obligations, he might feel that now, after all these years, when he is finally making multi-million dolalr paydays that it would be somewhat irresponsible to give them up. I'm not saying that it would be irresponsible, but he is a family man and might be thinking along these lines. - Most of all, current circumstance seem to suggest that he will have to keep on fighting for a while longer. He wants to avenge his loss to Jermain yet still step up in weight class to take on Tarver or someone else. Two more fights in six months would be tough to pull off. Espeically now that word it that Taylor may not be ready for Oct. 1. And if he beats Taylor, he may be obliged to make it a trilogy, which would be three more fights. I don't know, the more I think about it the more I think that his retirement is not quite so imminent as we might think.
