Hopkins hit him low twice that I could tell, as well as holding and hitting, yet Taylor did not go that route. His corner was telling him to retaliate, but Taylor took the higher road. It was a Great night for the Arkansas proud, not just by the win, but how Taylor represented himself in the ring as well.
Taylor won't. Taylor is a man of class and that is why I respect him. B-Hop is a dirty fighter, plain and simple but I still like him. I'm glad that everyone is finally over the "B-Hop won but got robbed." and "Taylor kicked B-Hop's ass." crap. And now we can all look at Jermain Taylor as a class act as Middleweight champion. I don't like his chances in the rematch, but I have a feeling that after B-Hop retires, he will be on top in this division. I hope he stays at Middleweight, but I have a feeling he will move up in weight, too.
No offense but dignity needs to be shown inside the ring as well as outside of it.Hopkins should of been duducted a point in the 10th after already been warned twice before. I just hope Taylor does not lower himself down to X's level in the rematch.
when he was hurt in the fight he ducked his head down and COMPLETLY turned around. That showed me that he didnt want to fight anymore. And after the fight he just walked back to his corner like he had lost. The only one that jumped up and went crazy was his promotoer
when one of my friends had heard that Taylor had one, he groaned and said "now that punk is middleweight champion" but in all honosty, if there were somebody that was going to eventually beat Hopkins (contreversial or otherwise) I am glad that it was Taylor. Taylor was always supposed to be the 'heir apparent' and he is a friendly and polite champion, and I think he-- like Hopkins-- will hold the titles with dignity, even if it is only for one fight!
hmm
Taylor didn't think he lost the fight. He was just a young man who was anxious all night and was glad it was over because he was getting tired at the end. Also he had been ealing with a vicious cut for most of the fight. Judging Taylor's face at the end of the fight to mean that he really thought he lost is what we call "reading between the lines".

Its a shame Hopkins didnt do the same, people make excuses for him, saying its tricks of the trade but if it was any other fighter he'd be branded a dirty fighter.
You are just a hater . It is ok , Taylor got served , and you are a TAYLOR NUTSACK RIDER
If by served you mean:
And......NEEEWWWW MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!!!!!
Then yeah, he sure got served.
neither taylor or hopkins got served, taylor won a very close fight fair and square, it doesnt matter that hopkins staggered him late, taylor won like the first seven rounds. hopkins needed a knock out to win. it was too little too late. its a shame he didnt win because i was cheering for him but the truth of the matter is, is that taylor won, it was close, but he still one. but neither taylor nor hopkins destroyed eachother. and no, hopkins did not serve taylor, but believe me, i wish he would have.
You are an asslicker of Borekins. You just proved it. Your opinion is zero.
You are stupid also, ANyone who watched the fight saw that Taylor , was very suprised to get the gift . Did you see him when he was holding on for dear life in the 10th ?????
You are just a hater . It is ok , Taylor got served , and you are a TAYLOR NUTSACK RIDER
Yes your heard it from all the Borekins asslickers. The same blink fucks thought Borekins also won the fight.
No stupid , if you watch the end of the fight he was almost apologetic , talking about he was going to train hard for the rematch , and that he was sorry for his performance . You would think if it was the biggest fight of his career he would have trained hard already .
HE was just full of sh**
