Taylor: New P4P Best?

Taylor still needs a lot improvement to become the #1 P4P. It took Hopkins about ten years to prove he belonged on the top of the hill. Let see how many defenses Taylor makes and who defends his belts against then we'll decide, starting with first defense against B-Hop, if that happens.

Floyd just need to find the right opponents and take everyone out in the next 2 or 3 years. Then he'll solidify his #1 spot. I mean he's always claimed he's P4P #1 Should be interesting to see the JT / B-Hop rematch... The more and more I think about it ... I think Jermain knows now the level he needs to be at to execute his jab for 12 Rounds and the more and more I think about it ... I think Jermain is well on his way to climbing that P4P list.

Floyd is clearly number one now, after Taylor "beat" Hopkins.

Unlike the guys you mentioned, Winky has won all his fights fo 6 yrs straight (them doos you wrote has lost in less time span). Became king at 154 undisputed and jest recently beat Trinidad wit EAZE and quality impression. Not to mention that HE MOVED UP a division to do tis! winky is another one of those fighters that doesnt knock anyone out... but his longevity definately makes him top 5... i think he's way above corrales... Corrales is a scrub!.. hahahaha im gonna get like 10 replies for that one.

I mean i guess Winky's thrashing of Tito would give him the edge since he moved up to fight Tito but Morales has had some tough opponents lately... and plus he's been in 3 different weight divisions... and has done well in all of them... so I have to say Morales has the edge on Winky =O)

i never understood why winky is so high, he didnt beat a p4p fighter.he isnt ahead of corrlaes or barrera and def. not morales. these other guys have put in way more work than winky. dont get me wrong i think he can be top 3 but he hasnt beat anybody yet. a 160 tito....... :rolleyes: please. sorry to all the hatton fans out there, but beating an aging Kosta doesnt make you top ten... neither does beating a 40 year old Benard... P4P Jermain Taylor hasn't fought enough good opponents. But it could be argued that in a couple of years Jermain could be P4P-Top5.
