Great fight , big W for my boy showed he got heart and can get up after a knockdown ans was smart in the last 3 rds. But needs to keep his left hand up when backing out, what do u guys think??
He is still a good prospect and he is an entertaining fighter.
I think that as he gets some stiffer competition, he will be a little more fundamental and will settle down.
He is one of the skinniest humans I have ever seen. He looks even smaller than morales at 122.
It's good to have heart, but if that's all you have, then it's only enough to get you a beating...
Barrera, Morales, etc are all warriors but they possess skills Litzau won't have in this lifetime...
He will get whooped by Morales, Barrera, Pacquiao, Chavez, Hernandez and Juarez
Without a doubt in my mind, he'd get ko'd by all of them. Maybe when he's 26 or 27 years old he'd have a better chance. But I'd like to see him and Juarez brawl.
haha good point, but some of my other favorites are Ouma and Tarver and Mesi. And Duddy is a good boxer puncher
But back to Litzau you all have to remember he is still 22 yrs old. so hopefully this was a learning experience for him , i think Litzau could have floored the guy in either the 9th or 10th round but he stayed smart those last couple rds.
And you all have to remember Nolasco is no slouch hes been 2 previously undefeated fighters and has fought some stiff opposition, and he is naturaly bigger than Jason
But reguardless Litzau outboxed him and landed more punches and more power punches.
wait wait...you say nolasco is naturally the bigger guy?? Just how many inches did litzau have on him exactly?? Thats the reason I kept yelling at him to fight jason on the inside and take away his reach. He towered over nolasco.
Has potential but he was exposed. Wow and ThunderGatti all of your favorite fighters are white guys who brawl. Hmm interesting

Exposed. The guy he fought was supposed to be a punching bag, but Litzau became one. If his challenger was consistent he would have won via KO or by decision.

I think he showed several things last night. The ability to get up off the canvas and continue, but if Nolasco hadnt let up on him in the final rd's I have to wonder if he would have continued at all. Also showed that his chin might be in question since Nolasco isnt exactly a power puncher and showed that he's still somewhat of a dirty fighter. Still a bit green and way too cocky for his 15 wins.
