Nobody has mentioned the "E.A. JINX"

I'm a little surprised that I haven't caught a thread or post this week that refers to the possibility of the good old "EA JINX" that might haunt Bernard Hopkins on Saturday... just to quickly educate a few of you guys who don't know, the cover-boys for EA Sports games in the US have traditionally had very bad luck during the year that they were on the cover.... "THE JINX" has burned more NFL guys than any other group....Marshall Faulk, Eddie George, Daunte Culpepper, and Michael Vick all got haunted by "THE JINX" for their Madden covers.... Roy Jones got KO'd twice following his cover-pose for FN 2004... Ray Lewis and Ricky Hatton were able to avoid THE JINX, will it bite Bernard in the a$$ on Saturday??? YOUR THOUGHTS!!!!

Name another underdog on the cover of an EA game, the same year he was an Underdog too (ie. DLH doesn't count cause he wasn't an underdog until the Hopkins fight). Probably can't because there probably isn't one. Hatton was put on the cover of Fight Night in England/Europe b/c he has more mass appeal there than Hopkins. 1. I cant name one. 2. Secondly, you never answered the question as to whether or not that is a rule that you made up. 3. and thirdly, Manny Ramirez was on the cover of MVP baseball 2005. Regardless of him being a world champion, he is by no means the best baseball player, or ever near for that matter. I stand corrected. I could have sworn people were going on and on about Hopkins losing due to the damn curse to Eastman but I guess I'm wrong. Anyway, he will still beat Taylor, who is better than Eastman, but I love to fuck with you guys because I know there's always someone who will take the bait.

hmm The curse has already been proven wrong. Ray Lewis had a good year when he was on it (last year). There have been many bad incidents, but not every time. Therefore, if there is a curse, it is not 100% efficient. Kinda like the Kennedy curse...lol.

Oh yeah, NOBODY! He's a prime reason why US fans don't respect the opinion of many UK blabbermouths, the guy gets an inflated ego thru his comments in the worthless British tabloids, then comes to the US and becomes a total lazy-a$$ vs. Joppy and Hopkins.....stick to rooting for the Brits with skils like Hatton and Lewis and Hamed, Eastman makes the UK look real bad

The curse is real. I mean Lennox looked less than stellar against Klitchko after he was on the cover. Who know what the result would have been had it gone the difference. Same thing with RJ. This is Hopkins first fight since the release on the cover. We'll see what happens
