What's with these Klitschko bashers anyway? If they don't like them why the hell do they spend so much time debating them and creating all these threads?
There are some boxers I don't like , I post my opinion, and it's over with. I don't go around chasing all their fans around the forum, acting like an asshole, just trying to get on their nerves.
It is the haters that are the true fanatics and have proven to be more fanatical about their hatred than any Klitschko fan I've ever encountered.
If I were a psychological profiler, I would suspect these people to live miserable lives, constantly overwhelmed with depression and failure. They have no friends and the only contact they have with anyone is through the internet. It makes them feel better to express and try to spread the misery they feel within themselves. It's really quite sad.
I'm not talking about non-Klitschko fans, there are several on this site that are reasonable, good people that just don't like the brothers. That's fine. I'm talking about the true haters. The ones who don't really care about the topic and post just to be dickheads. The ones that even get on the nerves of non-Klitschko fans. Why don't you all come out now so we can all put you on our ignore list and get on with a normal debate?
If you are offended by this thread, let it be known, because you are a hater.
Don't you Klitschko supporters want to see him fight at least one mandatory challenger? Just one?! Are you really satisfied with opponents like 38 year old, semi-retired Corrie Sanders and complete garbage like Danny Williams and, God forbid, Kevin McBride?
We're going on 15 months now that he has held the WBC title, and he hasn't faced a single mandatory challenger. Not one. And does it really surprise you that there are people who are getting a little fed up with it? If Rahman beats Barrett and is in shape and available to fight Vitali on September 24, will you still stand by him?
First of all, Vitali fought 12/11/04. Less than 7 months ago.
Second, I agree and would like to see him fight those guys too. However, If he fights these guys and wins like I hope he does, the haters will find a way to discredit those opponents as well.
Here, let me show you,
If Vitali fights and wins against,
Toney - Fat, old and too short. Just a blown up middle weight.
Rahman - Fat, out of shape B class fighter, who only got lucky with one punch against Lewis.
Byrd - Another blown up middle weight, old, slow and past his prime.
Ruiz - Slow paper champion who has a reputation for getting beat by middle weights.
Brewster - Fat, out of shape, B class boxer that got one lucky punch with Golota.
I'll even go further,
Brock - Not ready for a title fight.
Valuev - a freak that never fought anyone.
Peter - Not enough experience.
Barrett - B class fighter
The bottom line is the haters will never do anything but hate. It doesn't matter who Vitali fights.
One thing I'm convinced of, the reason for their hate has nothing to do with boxing and probably has everything to do with race, religion, nationality or whatever.
That, my friend, is one hell of a good post. You hit it right on the head. Have some Karma.
yeah and george foreman beat joe frazier in two rounds. it didnt make him better than muhammad ali.
Try reading.
The point wasn't who's better than who.
It was that Corey Sanders, at 38 years old, out of shape, and a year out of the ring, was NOT a win to brag about.
He was beaten soundly and quicker when he was younger and more fit by lesser fighters. (Tubbs obviously the lesser fighter, Rahman still up in the air).
Oh, and here's Nate Tubbs (http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=005751) getting it done in the 2nd round:
yeah and george foreman beat joe frazier in two rounds. it didnt make him better than muhammad ali.
For the most part the Sanders Klitchko fight was a domination, the rahman sanders fight was a war.
Sure if you want to bring up age, rock fought a better version of corrie sanders but he did not beat corrie sanders more impressively...Rock was distraught after that fight and after his performance...in fact he contemplated retirementafter the fight because he struggled so badly with Sanders...
But your right Rahman had an easier time with Sanders than Vitally did...Im not defending VK...just responding to a bad post thats all.
Me and you Bozo, were taking over!
The point was Corrie Sanders WAS NOT an impressive win for Klitscho.
Sanders was 38, had been inactive for a year, and looked like he had a grandfather's build:
Rahman fought a younger and more active Sanders, and stopped quicker and dropped him:
The point was, Sanders at 38 years old and inactive one year was NOT an impressive win in the context of world title class.
I realize you're eager to jump on anything I say you can, but look at the overall point of something I'm saying before you look to pounce on it.
Rahman dropped Sanders, and Klitschko did not.
Rahman stopped him quicker, and dropped him.
This was also when Sanders was in much better shape (ten pounds lighter) and when he was 34, not 38 and coming in after one year's inactivity like he was agaisnt Klitschko.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but you'll have to keep hanging off my posts looking for something else to jump in on.

Rahman beat Sanders more convincingly....Bozo you just made a bozo nono...
Rahman was flat on his ass in that fight, and was repeatedly hurt...it was not a one sided beating.
Now VK was rocked in a few rounds by Sanders but he also dished out a pretty good drubbing... watch the fights again...VK had an easier time with Sanders than Rock did.
Rahman stopped him quicker.

Tubbs walked in and destroyed Sanders.

And that's where the classic fanatic line of thinking comes in, talking about how feared and credible Corrie Sanders is.
Sanders and Williams are an absolute joke when their trying to be used to justify a guy based on wins over him.
You rate Klitschko #1 because you're a jock sniffer who's convinced himself of somehting that's totally up in the air. His wins over Sanders and Williams doen't mean anything.
The title holders are all on par about now, and it's henceforth that one of them is going to prove his worth over the others.
that is all your opinion... i think kj, sanders and williams are just as good as mccline, fres and golota... we have a difference of opinion on this matter, just leave it at that
like i said it just my opinion, knocking out williams/sanders/KJ is more impressive to me than getting draws or split decisions over fres/golota/mccline... and that's why i rate him #1 in the division

That is weak.
Becaue LOOK at who he's been fighting.
San Sanial Sam knocked out Danny Williams quicker. Nate Tubbs (look this guy up) and Hassim Rahman beat Corrie Sanders quicker and much more convincingly.
The argument that Vitali "has been winning more impressivly" is a tired and played out nut hugging assertion.
It's as tired as touting his high KO%. If you'd care to look into his KO%, before 2003 it was highlighted by names like Orlin Norris and Obed Sullivan, and then littered with German club fighters.
His two wins over Danny Williams and Corrie Sanders in the last 18th months are not the least bit impressive on a World title class level, no matter how you choose to sugar coat it.

Don't cry about why he gets so much critisism then.
You have mentioned several times in several threads that he gets slighted a lot despite there being other title holders with weak resumes and inactivity.
Once again, that's not the point, because those fighters don't have OVERWHELMING RABBID fanatics touting them as the best Heavyweight in the world.
The (justified) critisisms of Vitali are DWARFED by the overwhelming unjustufued hype surrounding him.
haters can hate, i dont mind that... but when they make comments that are not right, like VK's resume is so much weaker than everyone else, thats when i'll correct them...
so isn't Sam Peter on Vitali's level then? Sam Peter has the same knockout percentage as Vitali so shouldn't he be tied with Vitali? Idiot
insults are unnecessary.... simple answer, peter has a high KO%, but his opposition is unheralded... when you compare VK to the other champs, their competition is equal, but VK is winning handily, while they are not....
this is just my opinion, but the fact that VK is winning impressively while the other guys are struggling to win, makes him the #1 guy in my book...

Without a doubt 1 of the if not the best poster on the site! Keep it up Fuego!
i was not commenting on all that other stuff you mentioned... i'm not going to get into all that.... but i am glad to see that you agree with me in regards to VK's resume and the rest of the division... i will say this though, there is large fanbase for VK and there is an equaly large non-fan base...

As Klitschko fans, shouldn't you all EXPECT him to be ABOVE the other titleholders? Because right now, he isn't. It's your duty as his fans to let him know that he's losing credibility and get him on the horse. Vitali has done nothing to deserve being considered the #1 heavyweight in the world. Rahman got stopped by Lewis, but you don't see Rahman fans claiming he's #1, now do you? Tua lost to Lewis. Is anybody claiming he's #1? Didn't think so.
