new poster in search of knowledge

Although i have always enjoyed watching and reading about boxing i have discovered a new found love for it. This could have been due to the fact i went to see my first pro fight at the M.E.N Arena between Ricky and Kostya or maybe because i have finally joined a gym and started to learn how to box........whatever the reason i still class myself as a casual fan with knowledge on fights/fighters. No matter how much i read i will never be able to fully have an opinion on anything due to the fact i have only ever watched a handful of fights........so i know think its time to step up and enter the circle....... Does anybody know where i can purchase good quality fight dvd's in england and would people like to suggest a few essential fights to start me on my journey of boxing knowledge?

thanks for your help guys il be stocking up soon and il let u know how i get on.......... J! are you sure thats the right address it keeps telling me the address dosnt exist? JUYJUY i think one of my first purchases will have to be benn-eubank ..... read it was brutal....cant wait! Yes M.E.N hatton-kostya was absolutley unbelievable!!!the fight,the atmosphere everything! couldnt of asked for anything more!the whole weekend was just undescribable.........went up there friday morning and came up back monday morning......one of the best(and messiest)weekends EVER!!!

Kostya vs Hatton as your first fight to see? considering the magnitude of the fight, the title at stake, the fighters involved, the atmosphere of that arena...that is a hell of an introduction to live Boxing

try this guy, he does some special offers such as super fights and they will be a collection of fights on one dvd, for example, hagler hearns then bowe holyfield for a fiver!!! dvds are good quality too but they get shipped in fomr oz and he wants paying up front, whih is fair enough but i can vouch for his honesty. ask him to send you his list he will do so zendo59@tpg.com.au as for what fights, have a look at the list & post here and ill tell you if ive seen em and if they are a good choice, there are too many to list bro! hope this helps and welcome to the boxing bug, i was at the MEN as well, what a night! :D
