This fight could be closer than everyone thinks. I think Gatti will be the much bigger man (outweighing him by anywhere between 10 and 15 lbs) when they come into the ring. He will have the strength to apply the kind of pressure that Castillo did. Also, recall that Mayweather has those fragile hands. What is going to happen if, after dominating Gatti for 4-5 rounds with his uncanny speed, he hurts his hands again. How does he keep Gatti off of him for another 7-8 rounds?
I think you have to favor Mayweather, but things could get very interesting down the stretch.
i think this may be the predicton that's closest to reality. i'm hoping Gatti puts a beatdown on Mayweather culminating in a spectacular KO.
I wanna make a whacky prediction because I haven't heard it once in all the threads for this fight:
Gatti by majority decision!
Gatti gets outboxed for most of the fight, but knocks PBF down 2-3 times in the fight and wins a narrow decision (one judge will have it even).
keep dreaming sweetie :p
Mayweather by a ridiculously easy decision, with 1 corrupt judge giving Gatti the edge with a bogus 115-112 card, then 2 accurate cards around 116-111..... as you may have noticed, Mayweather is 1 point-short on those cards, since I think he'll get deducted a bogus point for some minor infraction late in the fight, in order to make the scoring more interesting, & also to keep the AC crowd from leaving early once they see that their boy is getting dominated by a better fighter
Yeah, while I do think Gatti will win, the odds are what made this a no-brainer for me. I throw 50 on every big fight to make it more interesting, and it's just worthless to throw it on Floyd to win only 10 or 15.
At first I was thining Mayweather by decesion, but now after thinking it over more closely, I'm fairly sure its going to be Mayweather by KO in between round eight and ten.
I'm still putting $50 on gatti with the 5:1 odds, might as well. You never know he might get a lucky body shot in.
This fight has a big "you never know" factor going into it...at least the hype is making it seem that way. I still have to go with Floyd, with the ref stopping it in, well, let's say round 8.

Whatever happens... I jsut want a great fight. I'm pretty fuckin psyched for this, it would suck to see a track meet.

I put a couple points on Gatti but just cuz i like to root for underdogs.
the realist in me says this is gonna be all mayweather though.
but i'm paying for this ppv so i want it to be brutal, bloody, and go the distance =)))).
