They made a movie about Braddock, I would think they would make a movie about one of the most exciting fighters in Boxing history. Following the good start to his career, the boxing, to the bad habits out of the ring and the brawling, the losses, the trilogy, and capping it off with a big win over P4P Floyd.
Would be an interesting story to see on film as we may find out some things we didn't know before.
Just to bad Gatti won't win.
I dunno.
There'd be a few problems with painting Gatti as the 'underdog' role.
1) He's rich. He's made enough money to live off of, so even if he doesn't win, there's not terribly much at stake other than another L.
2) He's the champ coming into the fight, so it's not as if he's trying to 'achieve his dream' of becoming the World Champion.
3) He's definately not been written off to the point of Braddock, Ali or Buster. He's still a respected fighter, just nobody thinks he's got the technical skills to defeat Mayweather.
If they were gonna do the movie, they'd have to use creative license to make it interesting. Start it off with him losing by upset to Robinson, go through the whole 'turmoil' act, then have him come back and win back his title.
Problem is, that he won it off of Gianluca Branco... who doesn't exactly inspire fear. They could always shape the story that PBF held the belt... but... yeah....
Exactly!
anything can happen in the ring... after all this is boxing. nobody should ever be 100% confident that a fighter is going to win. one punch can turn an entire fight around. example: tarver-harding 2.
i think that pic of urs should be changed to chiguaguas cause he dont have power to be thought as a pitbull, but he has speed.

If you guys realised.....Gatti is not that big of a underdog.......
only 3/1
Gatti has a bigger chance then people think(mayweather fans)
Gatti has a lot more power than Mayweather and that could end it, in Braddock-Baer and Tyson-Douglas..
the underdogs were lower in every aspect (speed, power, chin, etc.)
Just to bad Gatti won't win.
That's what they said about Braddock, Buster Douglas, Ali(before Foreman 'rumble'), Hatton, etc...That's what makes it a 'cinderella' story.
Go Gatti! ;)
