I know his first pro fight is the 25th but I have no idea who he is fighting.
I can't believe at 37 he decided to take up boxing but I wish him the best of luck!
that is impressive....
It's a nice start; the opponent has now been TKO'd in both of his pro fights, though.
It'll be interesting to see what type of opponent they put Gill in with his next few fights.
I don't know how slowly you can bring along a 37-year old; we'll see if Kendall is playing around or he's serious by how often, and against who, he fights.
Hopefully he fights better than he did against Steve Smith years ago in the corridor going back to the locker rooms.
Soft ass Steve Smith dotted his eye is what i heard.
LOL I remember that...
I think he's going to win.
He's fighting a tomato can with very little professional experience and the guy is 7 inches shorter than him. If Kendall Gill can use that height and reach to his advantage he can just hit him with straight shots all night and lean out of the that guy's range.
Kendall Gill is fighting Trevor Biley, who is 0-1 and lost his only pro fight by a 1st round TKO.
I think it's safe to assume that if Gill doesn't win his debut, then this "second career" thing will end very quickly.
I don't imagine this is on national TV or if any TV at all, though there may be some press there to cover for ESPN or Fox Sports, etc. to show a clip on one of their highlight shows...
