Is anyone disappointed with the way GBP is handling Ouma?

Why the hell is Morel on the card? SHouldn't it be Montiel-Castillo? The guy Morel just lost to?

Man they just signed his ass what did you want a fight with hopkins of the bat I am not speaking of the caliber of opponent he is fighting but that they are putting him on HBO Latino for Boxeo de oro when they could place him on the ppv card 2 days later. This would probably draw in a bit more buys because Larios/Mcullough and Montiel/Morel isnt a strong undercard.

i think dlh would make it even better if he concentrated on the business side of boxing instead of taking on winky at 154. he might be seeing it my way after i heard he's postponed fighting till after first baby is born. good excuse...he don't want to fight in sept because his wife is having a baby in dec/jan?? jez, how many times have i heard fighters say they want to fight because they're having a baby. they needed the money. he don't. i can't understand why dlh didn't bite the bullet and kill himself to get down to 147 and fight the little judah for all those belts in sept. i know, easy for me to say. i feel that a dehydrated rusty intelligent dlh would find a way to defeat the weak belt holder judah. even if it means using ruiz slovenly type of tactics. its got to be a hell of a lot easier than taking on winky. I don't think Judah is a weak belt holder and I think De La Hoya is done simply because he isn't hungry anymore.

I think Golden Boy is a good promotional company and will handle Ouma well in the future. The guys is a very talented fighter... Putting Ouma on a latino card does nothing when he isnt even very popular in the u.s.

great marketing. don't put down the worth of exposure on hbo latino. good move for ouma and gbp. also this setup will give forrest a needed kick start to his career. gbp knows what there're doing. thanks for the love brother, HBO Latino has great fights and it is an excellent platform for up-&-comers....it's nearly as good as "solo boxeo" on Telefutura, which has awesome fights EVERY Friday at 9pm, Vargas fought on that channel vs. Marshall, & Vasquez vs. Tapia will be on that channel in July....btw, that picture in your avatar, is that the "white widow" from Humboldt that I've been hearing about??? :)

Bullshit want to market to Latino fans add Latinos to the card. Adding Montiel to the Latino card and promoting the ppv card would do a hell of a lot more than with Ouma on the card. I bet 80% of the latino community doesnt even know who Kassim Ouma is. you're absolutely right, 80% of the Latino fanbase doesn't yet know about Ouma....which is EXACTLY WHY he should be on the HBO Latino show, Latino's are by far the largest fanbase for boxing in the US, and there's a nice selection of Latino Cats from 147-154 that Ouma could fight in the future, so getting his "feet wet" on HBO Latino before a bigger fight with Margarito, Santos, etc. is an AWESOME marketing ploy....Montiel and Larios BOTH need to be on the PPV, not the HBO Latino card, in order to draw some of the bigger $$$ for the PPV

Karmazin 2 days before the big PPV, it gives the fans a little slice of the action for free, right before the $50 show, and it gives HBO and GBP a chance to pump-up the pay-per-view with some highlight clips and interviews of B-Hop, Taylor, Montiel, Forrest, etc. This is just proper boxing marketing, kudos to GBP for knowing the biz Bullshit want to market to Latino fans add Latinos to the card. I think that defense against Karmazin was scheduled before Hopkins-Taylor was scheduled. But still, Oscar could manage that better.

No HBO Latino on my area's directv package, so it's fair to say I'm disappointed...
