they shocked the world, list the quitters so far and predict some fighters you see who may quit in their next big fight.
Quitters so far:
Kostya Tsyzu
Mike Tyson
Carlos navarro
Muhamed abdulev
Quitters of the Future:
Jermain Taylor I like the guy but I feel he may quit against hopkins I want him to prove me wrong.
Antonio Tarver he may quit since he was getting pressured hard by glencoffe we'll see.
Vitali Klitschko in his next fight.
Well I would hardly consider that a beating. Have you seen the fight yet? I had him ahead before the fouling as he was scoring with the harder, cleaner blows. He was beating McBride. Perhaps the tide was begining to turn, but he was NOT getting beat up in in there. Getting leaned on maybe, but taking a beating? No way.
Also yes I would expect him to continue a fight if he were taking a beating (though he wasn't) as his purse in that fight was five MILLION dollars. You say he was motivated by money, well he was getting an awful lot of it to get in there with a talentless bum. All he had to do was take the fight a few more rounds and he would have eventually landed something halfway clean on McBride's brittle jaw and sent him off to la la land.
You cannot defend Tyson's actions. He behaved like an immature coward and let down many, many people just because he just didn't feel like fighting. He should have just called the fight off in that case, so people would have gotten their money back. Very unprofessional on his part.
Thats not what I meant bro
I meant it wouldnt make him a difference if he quit or not
either way his retarded
Mike Tyson is doing it JUST for the money, and it's the only way he can make lots of money, you expect him to continue to fight a fight where he's taking a beating?

Tyson quit and he quit bad. Anyone who actually watched the fight knows the truth.
McBride pushed him to the canvas and he just sat on his ass, as if waiting to be counted out (a la the Williams fight). It was without a doubt the weakest and most cowardly end to a career a former heavyweight champion has experienced. It may be the lamest moment in boxing history.
At least with Liston you can say that he had no chance of catching Ali and was receiving unnecesary punishment from a sharp, quick puncher. Tyson was hitting McBride with good bodyshots and could have won that fight. McBride was landing weak half-ass punches that wouldn't have KO'ed Tyson if he hit him for 15 rounds. Mike just decided it wasn't worth it, which is what happens in almost every situation when a boxer quits.
If you can defend Tyson for quitting that night, you can defend ANYONE in the history of the sport for doing the same. Either Tyson was a quitter or no fighter ever was. Choose a stance and stick with it because this Tyson nuthugging is nauseating.
Mike Tyson did quit, you know why?
Because he wasn't hungry!

This quitting stuff is becoming BULLSHIT!
I guess if you put it in that case all these guys are to
Quitters
Joe Frazier
Julio Cesar Chavez
Roger Mayweather
Sonny Liston
Alexis Arguello
Willie Pep
Roberto Duran
Mike Tyson
These guys are all fuckin legends, and anyone who calls them quitters simply don't KNOW boxing...
They may have quit when they're older but how can you just forget everything they did when they were young...
If your taking punishment and there's no chance, then stop taking a damn beating and live to fight another day...
Their people to, and they have lives...
I'm getting tired by these disrespectful so called fans callin everyone quitters, when they never stepped foot in the ring, it ain't no easy sport...
EXACTLY, good karma for you coming right up. These so called "fans" really don't understand the sport of boxing unless they step into tysons, arguello, or fraziers shoes.
cuz you're a troll thats gonna kiss canvas after you feel the power of my left hand..and i just didnt feel like replyin ;)

I don't begrudge a fighter for quitting. But if if they are going to quit they need to be a man about it and own up to their decision. Abdulev motioned to the ref in plain view of everyone that he was done, He didn't start copping a pissy attitude with the ref or try pass the buck onto his corner.
^ Agreed! people dont konw what kind of pain you go through when you're in that ring. only us who have experienced it know what goes on in there physically and mentally.
Ya man
Consider this as well, we fight with bigger 10-12 ounce gloves that are designed to absorb the shock and we got headgear and not fighting heavy punchers usually...
Imagine 8 ounce gloves designed to hurt you and NO headgear..
Did someone say ouch?
