who do you think is the best and most fearless warrior of all time? i have many picks, but my picks are:
Stanley Ketchel
Rocky Marciano
Marvin Hagler
Rocky Graziano
Joe Frazier
Jake LaMotta
Tony Zale
Jack Dempsey
Arturo Gatti
or
Evander Holyfield
probly holyfield
The best warriors in the sport were the guys from the bare knuckled days up until the 20+ round limit was reduced. These were people that would continue to fight with their eyes hanging out of their socket, with a broken arm, and in an outide ring where it was 110+ degrees. And this was for 20, 30, even 40 or more rounds.
I'll have to find a description of one of John L. Sullivan's fights on a barge and post it here. Brutal hardcore stuff.
They tried to break each others necks in the clinches in those days...
you are absolutely correct
Three Italians on that list.. Great list.. Can anyone tell me the last time they saw an Italian fighter quit.. ? I cant think of any..
jake lamotta stayed on his stool in his first fight with bob murphy.
Ali
Marciano
Hagler
Leonard
Tyson
Frazier Foreman
Dempsey
Holyfield is a truly great fighter, but i have to apologise to his fans when i say that i just never found him truly exciting in the ring

MATTHEW SAAD MUHAMMAD !
Not on anyone's list ? Shame on you all...lol.
This guy had every ounce of guts that Gatti does...BUT HE FOUGHT THE BEST IN A BAD-ASS DIVISION....unlike Gatti.
That's my "ultimate warrior, right there...
I know you're joking about that.. Not the Corrales that cried like a girl in the ring after Pretty Boy smacked him around.. Or the Coralles who beat his wife.. Would a warrior spit out his mouthpiece like that?
corrales "cried like a girl" because his corner stopped the fight so he went crazy...he wanted to keep fighting even after being knocked down 5 times = warrior.
beat his wife = irrelevant.
spit out his mouthpiece like that to be able to keep fighting, and after being knocked down twice, came back and KOed the guy in the same round = warrior.
it wouldve been different if he kept spitting out the mouthpiece and then quit, but he spit out the mouthpiece because he wanted to keep fighting, and you know what happened.
Holy, and I didn't even like the guy until he beat Tyson the first time.
Cause you werent a real boxing fan. The man had already been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and was told to quit boxing but instead he he decided to go to war every time he was called upon to, just like a true WARRIOR would.
Another reason why its Holyfield is hes naturally a 185 pound man, and he fought giants.. Men consistently outweighed him by 20 to 30 pounds and had more height than him usually... He is a man who should have been fighting at Cruiserweight, where he would have never lost a fight.. Evander truly is a modern day warrior
He used steroids to get up to HW. But yeah he was a warrior.
