The Executioner Bernard Hopkins :boxing:
Ring Magazine Fighter of The Year 2001
Longest Ever Middleweight Title Reign
Most Title Defenses as Middleweight Champion
I voted for the first option. One of the best middleweights and fighters ever. Throwback skills that would stack up with any other great throughout history.
^ Agreed ^
lol...u are still mad at me...lol..
Why would I be mad at you?
I don't even know you
If it's about the bet, I only lost $5, nothin much..
When was I mad at you...?
hmm
Hopkins made B-class fighters look like D class fighters...that's why he is great.
Any more smart ass questions/comments?
Bernard fought the best available comp. Can't blame him if no "legends" were in there. Tito would have been considered a great legend if not for guess who...Hopkins.
lol...I'm just fukin with you man, I know he's a HOF for sure, but you know that if Taylor beats him everyone will be like "he has just beaten two blown up welters" "he hasn't fought any real middle in years" etc...
Oh yeah, I see that coming.
That's a lot to ask of a 40 year old man who has beaten every man put in front of him for over 10 years without losing, but we shall see.
I know it is, im just throwing out a famous What If scenario.. He already has a stone place in hisory as a top 5 Middlweight ever, maybe he can further his legacy
Benard is a very skilled fighter defintley a top middleweight of all time but besides Oscar and Trinidad his record isnt incredible. He defintley is a legend but in his biggest fight to Roy Jones Jr. he got handled. Who knows maybe if he beats Taylor and beats the winner of Tarver Johnson 2, he could be considered one of the greatest fighters pound 4 pound ever. I guess we will wait and see.

hmm
Hopkins is an all-time great. You can tell in his fight with Roy he was just outmatched...he pretty much owned everyone he fought after Roy.
Hopkins vs Hagler would be a dream fight.
Not as bitter as you are over Tito's win over DLH... :D
...I didn't like when Nard didn't gave Tito an immediate rematch but I'm happy now cuz it backfire on him and lost his big money fight against Tito....he’s now trying to get Roy to fight him to make up for the loss…lol..
LOL, im not bitter at all about Oscar, he ran during crunch time, his loss. Hopkins will not face Jones or Tito. I dont even think he will beat Taylor.
Taylor will knock his old ass...
I know you're still bitter about his win over Tito :D ,
but you are probably right. I'm not sure that Hopkins has it in him to win this fight.
The Executioner Bernard Hopkins is the best boxer P4P right now :boxing:
- greatest in World All Time Middleweight - World Rank 1
- I cant wait for the fight The Executioner Bernard Hopkins - Ronald Winky Wright at end of this year
one of the best thinking fighters ive ever seen.
finds a way to win, feles his way into gfightds and by the soecond round has worked out the best way to beat ya. (post jones this is).
a middleweight legend, an amzaing pro who turned his life around.
an short an inspiration.
his one failing . he isnt british :D
i never been a huge fan either but you cannot deny the man's achievements. However my local betting agency has Taylor at quite long odds for next month- certainly got me interested! i have these symbols in my eyes again $$$$$$$ Here comes another big winner for me! ding, ding, ding! show me the money! lol
