Dude it's over let him go and fade off into bolivian or whatever. Yes it's true Tyson was very scary for awhile when he was young and the division was pretty subpar, but just like when the schoolyard bully gets his ass kicked in front of every body else that sense of invincibility is long gone. ...Sorry master, but he was never more than a sideshow and I wouldn't rate him top ten at all. Hell he wasn't even close to being the best fighter of his era. Overated, overhyped, and over appreciated. This was not the first time he quit in a fight. Just the first time he officialy quit. when else did he quit? He quit against Williams & McBride, So what thats at the end of his career, i dont understand how people can have all this hate for Tyson, he was easily the best fighter of his era, if not who was, you can say Holyfield or Lennox lewis but that wasnt Tysons era, From 1984-1990 he was the best fighter in the ring, He destroyed people, even Larry Holmes but he dont get credit cuz Holmes was 38 so why are people judging Tyson now that he looses he is 39, doesnt make sense, you must get off on hating on people who do what u cant.

Sorry I didn't read any other posts. Came on to pay bets I lost on the Cotto fight. Last night was the worst night for me as a boxing fan period. It'll probably be a few days before I come back, as I'm too damn sad to come on. Tyson in his prime was the best fighter ever. When he says he lost that killer instinct, I think I believe him. Up until last night the only negative thing people could not say about Mike Tyson is that he was a quitter. Now he doesn't even have that going for him.

I feel like crap this morning....just ill! Kinda like the feeling I had when my father told me Santa had been killed in a horrible sleighing accident.

He would have never of beat,en the Buster Douglas that fought him that night.. That Buster was obsessed and focused from the death of his mother.. BUSTER was actually the most unfocused heavyweight of all time.. Douglas could have been an all time great with his size, speed, power, and athleticism, and hes a very intelligent man too with c ha,ra cter.. He was just lazy. and unfocused if Tyson was focused he would have won, he was only there for a quick KO and the money, and he didnt train as he usually did.

I can only really agree. Tyson was one of the most formiddable fighters ever. As Lennox Lewis has stated, refering to a 21 year old Mike, "No one would have beaten Mike Tyson at that time." The fact is this dreadful fight should never have happened. It was only the Mike Tyson carnival show that kept the wheels rolling. He was clearly finished after losing to the useless Danny Williams. And make no mistake. Only those on the lowest rungs of the ladder lose to Danny Williams - The England Gargoyle - as James Toney calls him. :D I think hes been Done since Holyfield 2, He was still kinda young so he was able to use his talent and intimidation to KO Botha, Golota, Neilson ect... no one that good, So I think this loss takes away from Danny Williams & Lennox Lewis, because they clearly beat a old old Tyson, None of these fighters would have touched him in his youth, Tyson is probally the most disapointing fighter ever, He coulda been so much but he was never right in the head, he coulda Retired undefeated had he stayed focused and not went to jail, If he was focused he could have easily beat Douglass, So for someone to say hes not a all time great is just outta pure hatred for the man, its kinda sad that people hate him so much, but I guess thats what u get when you are Mike Tyson.

Excuse my language but Tyson in my eyes is FUCKEN one of baddest fighter of all time. His intimidation was like no other....
