I'm sure everybody noticed that too, for about two minutes, the audience weren't watching the Cotto fight but watching a stampede of some sort. Too bad, the HBO commentators didn't really talk about what really happened.
Anyway, fucking HBO commentators spoiled the Tyson fight. How much did Cotto weigh tonight? I missed that info.
Does anyone remember the fight in the UK probably 6-7 years ago when they started throwing chairs in the ring? Might have been longer than that!
Fuckin' Hooligans those Brits! :D
There was a fight or something in the stands during the Mitchell/Smith fight on the Tyson undercard, too.
I noticed when I turned to the Cotto fight that they were trashing Showtime. Competition must be heating up (2 FOY candidates on Showtime so far....)
2 of the 3 live fights I've been to had fights in the crowd. I don't know what people drop all that money on a fight, then get drunk, stupid, and arrested, but it seems to be a common accessory to boxing.
They've addressed it before on HBO, saying that the cameramen are not allowed to show the crowd since it would encourage the misbehavior.
one was castillo corrales, was the other hatton tszyu?
The funny part is, while the riot/fight whateva the fuck that was happenin in the back, Cotto and Abdulaev wer trading good quality punches. Probly missed them by the idiots who chose to watch sumthin else.
No ShIT.. Ive been saying this all along since I live in NY and see i3t first hand.. The Puerto Ricans and Haitans are the worst in NY.. They think theyre all hard and sh*t and alwways like to start crap with people.. Theyre into gangs and Organizations, they have no heart or character so they have to feel important and join in the masses... Then when I ask a simple question and say why are Puerto Ricans so proud Im branded a hater.. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME SOME SIGNIFICANT PR ACCOMPLISHMENTS THROUGHOUT HISTORY TO WARRANtr SUCH PRIDE?
what does this have to do with boxing ??? this is a boxing forum not a forum to talk about someone's nationality ...you need to get a life looser .
no offense tho, but it was a bunch of those fake ass gangsta FABOLOUS wearing Puerto Ricans who always trying to fight in bunches. Not all PR people are like that but those fake thugs in NY always doing stupid shit like that. Then we get mad when people criticize hispanics in this country.
I thought they said all the fuss in the stands during the mitchell fight was because of Ali?
it looked to me like people were looking higher in the crowd than where Ali ended up sitting. You might be right. Showtime didn't address it. The crowd fights happen every so often, so that's what I assumed it was.
They only announced thw wiegh in weight which both fighters weighed 138 and 3/4 but for some reason they didn't announce the officila weight during the fight.

Wait what happened?
I missed the cotto weight myself but i want to know, he didnt look as big as he did in the corley fight.
I thought their comments were kinda funny, because its true. Why the hell werent any legit boxing writers covering the cotto fight?
