The problem with Briggs is that he can't take a punch too well.

Briggs is one of the better boxers and is one of the more powerful punchers in the division. And he has beautiful handspeed. If his head is indeed on straight these days, he could be a threat to any top 10 fighter in the division, up to, and including, Vitali Klitchko. I haven't seen him fight for a long time, but his performance even against the far lesser skilled fighter was great. He did just exactly what a great talent should do when facing such a lesser fighter in the ring.....he made him look stupid for a few rounds, and then knocked his ass out for icing on the cake. Seriously, if he has his shit together upstairs, you'd better keep an eye on him. He was one of the biggest disappointments to me in boxing when he had his meltdown shit.....big-time potential, just fucked up in the head. If he's straightened out now, look out.

I have never seen Okine fight like that really, in his past fights he would just rip into his opponents. Ohh well he was exposed last night, I think his chin is glass nad Briggs can punch. A combination of both, either way my prospect went into the garbage can and Briggs looked impressive enough to generate some interest. On a side note, Kirk is underrated only if he would get himself in shape he could easily be top 10 material again. Spinks...don't let it bug you. Everybody picks a pony that turns into a donkey (am I the only one that can't not hear "Shrek" saying the word 'donkey' when I type it?) right before their eyes once or twice. It happens, that's just one of the hazards of being a boxing fan.

Shannon can swat. However says otherwise has never watched his fight with Lewis. The left hook is his best punch for sure. Briggs has above average heavyweight power, but wobbling Lewis is not that hard. He do carry a decent left hook for a big man.

Yeah i saw your post when you where talking about this guy. I remember hypung up K.Johnson when he signed to fight LL, then he got hurt. When he fought VK i invited to people over just to watch Kirk come in fat as shit. But this guy really sucks. He seems like he is very sloppy, just hoping to land the big shot. He looked very serious at the start of the fight like he was going to kill briggs. But as soon as he got hit he was done. Briggs does not have a big punch. Sure, he can knock you down, but with a left hook while going backwards? That's an Etienne-esque chin.
