Whats up with Kirk Johnson?

ifhe was to win a belt, would you all like him again? That, of course, depends on the circumstances in wich he is handed the belt. I would like Johnson if he showed up in shape, being in the worst shape of your life in the biggest fight in your career is a disgrace.

I've lived in and around Halifax and Dartmouth my entire life. Johnson has no respect left here. Everyone was all hyped for his fight with Ruiz and he got himself DQ'd. Then he got blown out by Vitali after coming in at 450 lbs. No respect left for him unless he's your 'boy' from down home. Agreed, Johnson is a bum. He came into the VK fight looking soft as hell.

damn, those would be good fights, but Brock vs. Fres that would be a great fight. they are good for each other. I think Kirk is too skilled for either of them though. He beats them both in boring fights. may even KO fres it'd be a nice step up for johnson, imo if he beats either it should at least land him a fight for a number 1 conteder spot for one of the titles.

I lived in Nova Scotia for a while, in the city where Kirk lives and trains. He has absolutely no respect or reputation as an athlete in that entire side of the Continent, not just his hometown. Why? 'Cause he's too stupid to see his own potential and make some serious committment to be a boxer.

If a HW has lots of talent and doesnt wanna train when the division is SO weak.. then they are a bum

Kirk Johnson is a bum no matter what shape he comes in Brewster will KO him in 1... Yanqui Diaz is also a bum cuz I bet $10 on him and he lost... Both bums and always will be..

kirk only real loss was against vitali, his dq against ruiz was dumb that last shot didnt even faze ruiz and was borderline low. had that fight gone the full twelve rounds, i think kirk would have won. if johnson can get into shape and stay motivated there is no reason he couldnt be one of the champions

True, but his skills greatly exceeds Golota. Golota never had the quickness kirk has. I really thought he would be able to beat VK with his speed. He is like an Andrew Golota, he has the skills but always seems to fall apart when things matter most. True, but his skills greatly exceeds Golota. Golota never had the quickness kirk has. Kirk has this amazing combination of speed and power. Yet he can't seem t get in shape. Tonight he won a TD over Diaz after dropping him a few times. But he stills looks badly out of shape. Not as bad as when he fought VK but bad. I wonder if he was to get into good shape could he be beaten? I have always wanted to se him in there with Bryd. Kirk Johnson is a bum. He's talented, but nothing but a lazy-ass slob. Makes me sick that this fat f*ck has probably earned more money than a guy like Ricardo Lopez....just because he's a heavyweight. I could see Kirk Holding a belt soon. I think it will be hard for him to get a fight, because i'm sure everyone knows they wouldn't be able to out box him, their only chance is to hope that comes in cold and try for a KO.
