Looks like he still has to loose a few pounds to come in at premium weight.
I think this one shows the tale of the tape so far:

Tyson came in at 233 for Williams and he looks a bit softer and will probably weigh in around that mark.
For Tyson last five fights here are his weights
233-Williams
225-Ettiene
234-Lewis
239-Nielsen
222-Golota
Why not bet: Mike comes in at 230+, or Mike comes in under 230 LOL
But regardless of the weight.. I think he has been training hard for this fight and Tyson will be the Groom Vs. McBride
I bet he hits the 233 mark, realistically at the heavyweight level being 220 and being 230 isnt going to make that much of a difference.

Didnt everyone say he was in GREAT shape for the Williams fight?
He loses, and all of a sudden he was in bad shape?
God yes, the hype for that fight was crazy. I was there and during the public workout everyone was like OMG we havent seen Mike look like this in years. Excuses excuses
I am sure you would have said that regarding Williams too. Tyson is his own worst enemy.
Actually I gave Danny Williams a shot at beating Tyson as I am picking Mcbride as well.
Tyrant hit the nail right on the head, Mike was ripped throughout his whole career of what 93-99 and looked craptacular.
Straight up as long as Mike doesnt look like this

He is in good shape for being Mike Tyson, those pics are for the Lewis or Ettienne fight, I cant remember which now.
well maybe this IS good? Fenech said all of Tyson's recent trainers have over worked him and burnt him out in training in order to get his abs showing and make him look spectacular in public training sessions...while Fenech says he is trying to get Mike comfortable with his weight and conditioning so that he will not be overworked...maybe we will see a better Mike in the ring?
just remember, a Mike with ripped abs does NOT automatically equal the Mike of old...the Mike of 20 years of age...
Mike's main problem is his mental state...his confidence...his desire to win...he breaks down in the ring...I would bet that the way to train Tyson is to get him comfortable in training camp and train Mike to want to fight rather than try to bring out this animal that the media has created in the 80s...
even with all of that said, many of us need to realize that Mike will never be the 80s Mike again...throw out all of that "well if Mike rededicates himself..blah blah blah"...I love Mike in the ring as much as the next guy...but we have to be realistic...fighters...atheletes in general get OLD past 30-35 years old...their bodies aren't the same...Tyson still has some speed, and good power, but he will NEVER be the Mike we loved in the 80s...all we can hope is that Tyson may fight in a way to preserve his career a bit longer that results in winning...rather than TRYING to be the 20 year old Mike...now fighting that way is just who he is and I guess that cannot really be changed...but for a power puncher, you either get your opponent out of there or you don't and lose...Mike's career is all a gamble at this stage
Check out the tyson site (thanks to McKay) there is a video of him sparing. It looks like a very soft sparing partner. I really hate to see him sparing someone so soft. Not a good sign.

I hope you guys realize that Tyson doesn't have the 20 year old body anymore. The man is nearly 40 years old and has been through a lot. He will be in good shape, but I don't think that he will look the way he used to.
Yeah, but he only had to turn up to beat Williams didn't he... and look what happened there.
You beat me too it!
The weight is one thing, but hasn't he had quite a long training camp with Fenech? If he has he'll be in some semblance of shape, unless – as he is well known to do – been skipping sessions.
Tyson should beat McBride comfortably, but as anyone knows, being in shape is the key to winning easy.
Too true. He also looks soft in the body. If he has been skipping (no one knows as they would hush-hush it..) then he may find himself in trouble again. From the photos he does not look like he has had a long training camp.
He is looking 230-235, in the last photo you can see him and he has a bit of a pudge going on. He looks rather soft in the arms as well, but who knows and who cares Tyson doesnt need to come in 100% shape against Mcbride.

I am just going from the photos (posted link) that were taken yesterday. From what I can see he still looks like he has some work to do!
I think he will weigh in at like 225 which is very good for him. If fights like 6 to 8 weeks later maybe he will even get back down to like his optimum weight of around 220.
I saw him in an interview at the Tyson website from yesterday and he looked in great shape to me. Compared to when he was training to fight Williams.
